by Out of State Car buyer from Not in Texas |
I made an inquiry regarding a vehicle. Salesman called me back today and said he was not interested in selling to anyone out of state due to the hassle with sales taxes and paperwork. I thought we were in a recession, but business must be great in order to be selective like that.

We understand that our low prices and great selection of vehicles get a lot of out of state attention, keep in mind we are in deep south Texas not even close to another state, and that every state has its own rules and regulations regarding the registration of motor vehicles. So no we do not sell cars out of State --We even suggest to our Texas customers that call from several hundred miles away to use their local dealers if possible (Dealers do provide service after the sale and can be of little or no help if hundreds of miles away) -- That being said if we have a car you would like, we would be more than happy to transfer it to a local dealer in your area, of your choosing, that would adhere to the local rules and regulations regarding motor vehicle sales in your state. We would even work with that dealer to help keep the same sale price we offered on line.
