Best service I have had working with a Car Company

by from Winston Sale, North Carolina |

Sold my car to Auto Advantage and it was the best service and the easiest way for me to sell my car. Kate was good to talk with on the phone and she had all of the paper work prepaired for the sell when Tyler show up to look over the car to purchase it. The transition went fast and smooth. This is one great Company to work with and I highly recommend them to anyone wanting to sell their car or truck. Thanks so much Auto Advantage.

One of the best buying eperiences I have had

by from asheville, nc |

All things considered, this was really great car buying experience. They were extremely fair with my trade in and really worked team. They helped make the process as quick as possible and didn't leave me sitting an empty white room. I would recommend them to anyone hopping for a car.

Best selling experience

by from Panama City beach |

Great service, trust worthy people. I sold a truck to them. The buyer Jeremy contacted me, it was the most professional and clean car selling experience I have ever had. Had a driver Brad come and pick up the car. Everything from the beginning to the end was professional and very detailed. Brad did a full inspection of the truck before purchasing and even did follow up to make sure everything was handled properly. I have never purchased anything from them, but if a purchase went like my experience selling to them, then I was trust them totally. Great guys!!!!!

Liars and thieves

by from Arden NC |

Terrible people here. Lied to my face and tried to cheat me changing the deal after we agreed on the terms... If i didn't know how dealerships worked especially shady ones and doubled checked the paperwork. I would have been charged over $2,000 extra, that they shook hands on. All while pretending they were helping me out. Do yourself a favor and don't ever stop here!

Best car buying experience ever!

by from Clyde, NC |

My husband and I had been very skeptacle about this dealership after reading the online reviews. However, we saw a car on their webpage that we were really interested in and decided to give them a chance. We drove over from our home in Clyde, NC about 45 mins. We were met in the parking lot by the sales man Jason. We would normally have asked to be left alone to find the car on our own but his manners and attitude made us feel really comfortable. He was informative and had a great personality. He was alsonthe nephew of a local legend (Popcorn Sutton). He took us through their buying process and made it all so much fun and strss free. The car was in great condition and the whole thing was so painless. We got what we wanted for our trade and a good price on the car we purchased. I can't say what the other people there are like but Jason and his sales manager made it all very fun and we will for sure go back! Give them a chance.

Excellent purchase experience, highly recommend

by from Asheville, NC |

My wife and I had been shopping for a low-priced, reasonable mileage used Honda for our son, even driving to Tennessee and South Carolina, answering ads that ultimately were unsafe, awful cars. We really wanted a Honda, Returning home from another wasted trip, I asked her to check out Auto Advantage, as I had always seen nice cars in their lot as I drove by. We had a great time with our salesman, Dustin, as he came with us on several test drives. But they didn't have what we were looking for. Then the sales manager got involved, and steered us toward a car we would never had considered, a beautiful like-new Ford Focus, complete with all maintenance records, a little gem of a car, which we ended up buying. I feel we were treated with great respect, and were given reliable, informative advice, and in spite of having no idea what the car was worth, having concentrated on Hondas for weeks, we discovered after the fact that we paid a fair price. This was a very positive buying experience and I would not hesitate to shop at Auto Advantage again. For any doubters out there, I have two comments: This is a genuine review - I don't work for these guys, and I believe that they deserve to make a reasonable profit when they sell a car.

Very unprofessional staff, cannot be trusted

by from Pittsburgh, PA |

My girlfriend put an ad in Craiglist in Pittsburgh PA for a 2010 Charger. This car was in very good condition... the only issue was that it was in an accident (deer) and the side of the car was repainted. (By a very good auto body shop, btw). Auto Advantage first offered much less than the car was worth... against my advice, my gf accepted the offer. The driver flew up to PA and informed my gf that someone would need to pick him up at the airport (VERY unprofessional... get a cab, you cheapskate). Next, he looked at the car and informed her that the previously-agreed-to price was now unacceptable; they wanted to renegotiate. Unfortunately, I had an important business meeting and was not able to be there. The driver ended up browbeating my gf into accepting a lower offer. When I talked to Mark Cooley, the purchasing director, he proceeded to come up w/every excuse in the book... He first insisted that the trade-in value was *less* than what they offered. When I quoted him NADA trade-in values which were thousands above his 'supposed' trade-in value, he changed his tune and said that the repainted area was worse than they were originally told. When I told him that I had spoken to Travis Lewis (Purchaser) by phone and informed him of the extent of the body work, he then changed his story again and informed me there were *tape lines* from the repainting. There weren't... the entire body piece was repainted (not a portion of it) so there could be no tape lines. This strikes me as a very unprofessional organization. If you do deal with them, make sure you hold them to any deals they make (and check w/other companies to make sure the deal is actually a good deal)

These guys are good...

by from Sylva, NC |

THE BEST 'TRUCK BUYING' PURCHASE I'VE EVER EXPERIENCED. I never normally leave reviews, but i was baffled about the 1 star reviews by a couple of other customers. ?? So had to say something. First, I've been driving by this place for over 10 years and it is always packed with customers and nice vehicles. Recently, I searched online, like most consumers nowadays, and found 3 vehicles I was interested in. I visited the first dealership, a local Nissan dealership, and was blown away how rudely i was treated. Online, the truck said 'call for price'. When i arrived, they wouldn't tell me the 'actual price' on the vehicle unless i agreed to buy it first? Sounds backwards, right ? I left without even driving the vehicle. Then, I went to Auto Advantage, and met with a sales representative who answered my questions and introduced me to the manager, Richard, who went over the details of the purchase and actually "listened" to my concerns. I left. The third dealership was Chevrolet, and my gripe with them was that the salesman kept telling me "I don't know, but I'll find out" on every question ??? Annoying, considering I knew more about the vehicle than the salesman. Also, the bed of the truck had a bubbled-up look near the back rear corner of the bed. I am not experienced enough to know whether it was paint filler or rusting, but i took a pass on the vehicle and went back to Auto Advantage. Upon returning, the sales representative was with another customer, but immediately the manager Richard came over to welcome me back and go over some details of the price, financing, and my trade-in. Within 10 minutes, we had agreed to the prices and i was signing paperwork and out the door in less than 30 minutes ! As a comparison, my last purchase was with CarMax 4 years ago and it took almost 2 hours ! and the inspection guy initially low-balled me on my trade-in at CarMax. So, I don't know why someone would say "don't trust these guys" but in my case, they are way above the norm. Kenneth D.
