New Car Purchase

I LOVE MAZDA. I bought my first Mazda in 2010. I bought an '09 Mazda 3 and my experience then was fantastic. I've brought my car to the dealership for oil changes and all maintenance since it was purchased because they really take care of their customers. The other day, I received a call from Cat explaining that they had a demand for used cars in my make & model type and asked if I'd like to come in and get my car appraised to see what it was worth and if she could get me into a new car at a reasonable cost. And that's exactly what she did! Cat and her manager and her finance associate all stayed until almost 10:30pm taking care of all of the details so that I could drive my new car home. She even showed me how to set up the bluetooth in my new car! During the finance process, I had to sit down and really think about what I had just did...but in the end, I am SO happy with my decision to buy new. Jeff Schmitt Mazda's got my vote! Zoom zoom!

One Satisfied Customer Here!!!

I found Jeff Schmitt Mazda in Beavercreek online. I was searching for a used MINI Cooper with an automatic transmission for my daughter's 16th birthday. We adored the little European made car! I found one at Jeff Schmitt Mazda within the budget and was extremely happy when the car dropped in price and went on sale even before I got there. Honestly, as a single mom I only felt comfortable dealing with a female who could understand my needs for the safety, security, and price range I found suitable in a vehicle for my daugter. Catherine McMillian, sales consultant, walked me every step of the way and I am very satisfied with her knowledge and expertise of the vehicles and her understanding and professionalism. Although, the MINI Cooper encountered a flat on the drive home. That same night I was assured the tires were brandnew (just as advertised and clearly marked on them) and that they would get it towed back at their expense to their service center and get it fixed ASAP. Freak accidents do happen, but there was also an unfortunate series of events to make me wonder if I was making the right choice in buying this car. To make a long story short, I decided to go with another car that was gorgeous, American made, gave me and my daughter piece of mind, was affordable on parts, gasoline, and reliable. I chose the 2010 Mazda 3 Sedan and have no regrets thus far. Yes, I paid a little more than what I budgeted for, but I know this car is suitable for my daughters and families needs. I am confident when we throw her a surprise 16th birthday party this weekend that she'll be thrilled to drive this beauty!!! I didn't want to rate this review 5-stars until I've had the vehicle to drive for more than a week, but based on what I've experienced this far I feel strong in saying that JSM is like a big happy family that will always make you feel welcome.Thanks for offering balloons and dinner! The fried chicken was delicious by the way! I guess they feel that if they take care of our needs, answer all of our questions, and deal fairly with us, they'll build a long-lasting relationship with us, the Buyer. And that I can agree with. Thank you, Jeff Schmitt family and last, but not least Catherine, for really taking her time with me. I will be back for MY car when it's time. -Janeen

BEST car buying experience ever...thanks to Paul!

When I pulled up for my appointment to talk about the possibility of getting a new car today, Paul was the first face I saw. He greeted me, asked me what I was lookin for and that's where my awesome buying adventure began. I immediately felt comfortable. We chatted for a minute, told him what I had been thinking in terms of features and some of the models I have researched, and he got me into exactly what I wanted and could afford. I wasn't pressured at all to buy when I walked in the door. And honestly... didn't 100% have the intention of doing so, but Paul was just great at ensuring this was an all around amazing buying experience. I walked in an started my buying adventure around 10am, and I was cruisin in my awesome 2015 Mazda6 by 2:30pm. Thank you so much Paul, you made my day :)

Even though I have not buy a car yet the process has been great. From communication via text and email due to be hard of hearing to all of the helpful advice. "Cat" Catherine has been a big help in trying to make this a pleasurable car buying experience. Even staying late because of my hours.

Great car buying experience.

Catherine McMillian @ Jeff Schmitt Mazda was terrific to work with. She made the car buying deal very easy; she answered my questions frankly and listened to what I wanted in a car. Ahe knew all the trim line differences and provided an easy to read list defining all the new terms and abbreviations the manufacturers have developed. Moved up to a Mazda6 from a Mazda 3 with only 356K miles. Business manager John Clarke was great also. No big pressure to buy add-ons. This dealer and the people get top marks.

Impressed by cars & salesperson Catherine McMillan

We stopped by Jeff Schmidt Mazada Friday and spoke to Catherine McMillian. She was very knowledgeable and helpful. We were not sure what we wanted when we got there but "Kat" went out of her way to help us figure out a direction we might want to go. We have bought several new cars over the years and have rarely had a salesperson so helpful but yet not pushy or phony! Once we make our decision and if it is a vehicle at one of these dealerships we will certainly go back to Catherine. We highly recommend "Kat" to anyone looking for a vehicle at the Jeff Schmitt Auto Group!

High Pressure Tactics

I really hate high pressure tactics when car shopping. I hate being made to feel bad for not buying a car RIGHT NOW. I hate salespeople who deliberately try to keep me in dealership as long as possible thinking it will lead to a sale, keeping me there and talking my ear off and making me meet the manager so he can put additional pressure on me. I hate being challenged about my taste in a particular car or being told I'm wrong for having a certain opinion about a car. So needless to day I didn't buy a car from Jeff Schmidt.

First car!

Dijon K. This is my first car purchase. I moved here from the east coast, and driving hasn't really been apart of my life. However, moving to Dayton, Ohio, I knew life had to change. I was referred to Catherine MacMillan at the Jeff Schmitt auto group by a friend who recently purchased a car. With this being my first time, and the rumors I've heard about car dealerships and car salesman, I thought I'd be overwhelmed. However, I believe God sent Catherine to help me. She was very thorough in her approach, and even spoke with a relative of mine back home to assure her of everything. I'm very happy to be going through this process and not feeling like I'm alone.

Finally found a great car for us

I spend way too much time researching vehicles we want to buy, and typically don't put myself in a hurry. We knew we wanted another SUV--something similar to a new CX-9, Explorer, Enclave, Acadia, Pilot, etc. After test driving nearly everything in that class, we narrowed it down to a few--but couldn't find the combination of options and price we were comfortable with, and were ready to wait for it. Our sales person, Catherine, was very helpful and patient with my buying process. She listened to our needs and kept a healthy level of communication. When their Cadillac dealership got in a new-style Dodge Durango with all of the options we wanted, Catherine acted as our advocate to get the price and trade in value we wanted. She made us feel confident about the vehicle. She was helpful throughout the rest of the paperwork, and was never pushy or awkward (like other sales people) about add-ons or warranties--she respected my opinions and decisions. I would highly recommend Catherine for anyone looking for a Mazda or other used vehicle.

Cat McMillan is Great to deal with!

Jeff Schmitt Mazda, I was at the Dealership in Beavercreek, OH on Monday 6/23/14 for a routine oil change and inspection. I always enjoy passing time looking at the new Mazdas. Cat McMillan saw my interest in the cars and she offered her time to help me find a car on site that was suitable for my needs. She was very pleasant and interesting to talk to and I didn't feel the least bit of pressure to make a purchase. I was able to test drive 3 Mazda 3s and a Mazda 6. Cat answered every question I had about trim levels, car power and how to use the latest computerized gadgets. Cat is very knowledgeable about cars and it probably helps that she has family members in the high performance car business. I looked at a 2013 manual Miata as I was leaving. The Miata is my dream car and Cat said she would keep me up to date on deals with that car. A couple of days after leaving Jeff Schmitt's I made some email offers to Cat on the 2013 Miata. I eventually made an offer that was accepted by the manager and today I'm a proud owner of a 2013 white Miata. Cat was easy to deal with via email and in person. The process was smooth, quick and easy to schedule. I got the trim level I wanted. I wasn't sure about the color white, but now it's my favorite Miata color. Sincerely, Tom B.
