I'm sure there are those who will doubt the legitimacy of a 5 star review for a car dealership, as I did when I read them. Let me say up front that I have no affiliation with the dealership or with the financing company. I had been looking for a Nissan Murano for 6-8 months, but with some very specific criteria. The day before going to SeaSell, I had been to 3 other dealerships not in the immediate area but within 100 miles. I shouldn't have wasted my time going anyplace else. I walked out of one dealership after being subjected to serious high pressure tactics (and this after I warned the salesperson TWICE that I wasn't going to tolerate that....). The next dealership had a car I thought I would like and the salesperson was much less pushy. Unfortunately, the car wasn't equipped as advertised. I went to SeaSell having thoroughly done my research on what my car's trade in value was, and how much I was willing to pay for the Murano. I also had my financing in place. But after the previous's days woes at car dealerships, I was feeling a bit hostile when we finally went to SeaSell. From the moment I walked onto the lot, SeaSell was different. I had called prior to coming to make sure the car was still available. They had pulled it out and turned it on so the AC was running and the car was cool. Within 5 minutes of getting there, Jimmy handed me the keys to test drive it. He didn't accompany us on the test drive. Most places want your license, phone number and a DNA sample before letting you drive a car....not so at SeaSell. Jimmy couldn't have been any less pushy if he tried....I felt like I was talking to a friend. Drove the car, loved it and wanted it. I figured the next step (negotiating) would be when the baloney would start. Not so at all.....I laid out my numbers, and Jimmy pulled out his cost sheet on the Murano. We compared notes, made a couple of simple adjustments, and the entire negotiating process was done in about a minute and a half. Dealing with the person who has the authority to make the decisions makes life MUCH easier. And at SeaSell, everyone can make the decisions. We went to lunch and took the Murano while Jimmy did the financing paperwork. Went back an hour later, signed the paperwork and were on our way with absolutely no stress or concern at all. I don't anticipate ever getting rid of the Murano, but if it were to happen that I decided to, I won't go anywhere else at all ever again. if I were to move from North Carolina, I'd likely fly/drive back here to do business with Jimmy and SeaSell. I also contacted my bank, USAA, to suggest that they consider adding SeaSell to their list of approved dealers. Thank you to Jimmy and to SeaSell.
