After 6+ years of having my TL serviced by Fountain Acura (since purchasing the car from them) I am very disappointed in the lack of regard for my loyalty over the years. I brought my '08 TL in to have the dash replaced and body work done, estimate of work just under $2K. The body shop needed three attempts and almost 3 weeks to complete the job to a satisfactory level. When I went to pickup the car I noticed my $500 radar detector left in the arm rest was missing. I reported this to Robert (body shop mgr) and was advised that he would need to discuss with Dan (GM). A month later after repeated follow-up by me, Dan finally returned my call and stated they would not replace the unit but offered small dealer credit for future service. I advised him that was unacceptable as a dealer credit was a soft cost to him vesus a hard cost to me for having to purchase a new unit. Dan's arrogant approach, disregard to my many years of loyalty and poor customer service leaves me with no choice but move my business elsewhere. This experience has tarnished my confidence in this dealership for not standing up and do the right thing. Consumers beware...
