The best car buying experience I have ever had!

This was by far the best car buying experience I have ever had. I went online and I was looking for the perfect Range Roover and I found this location because I was actually already approved at the David Mcdavid location in Houston, Texas, but there was no Range Roover on the lot, so I reached out to David Mcdavid in Plano and I did the deal over the phone and online. I drove out to the location on the saturday and the deal was so smooth and everything that they told me over the phone was true and this was the best experience that I have had when buying a car and I have purchased over 10 cars in the past and this one was the BEST! Thanks to Amir for all of his help!

Exceptional buying experience!

Outstanding Service

One knows the Acura is a luxury car by the features and quality, this is reinforced by the facilities and employees at McDavid Acura. When I arrived I was greeted instantly and they let me know the routine, then went right to work. The car is 4 years old so I was expecting some things other than an oil change. Within a few minutes the inspector came and explained what was needed and how long it would take, since it would take at least 2 hours they offered a loaner car. I chose to wait in their very comfortable lounge. The car was ready when promised. I plan to make this my home dealer.

it is the place to go!

We just bought our first Acura and what a wonderful experience it was! Our salesperson was Dan Ulmer and he was fabulous. Not pushy, but quite informative. He spent a lot of time with us while we were making the decision and after we bought our car. The finance man (Giles) found us an exceptional loan. The sales manager was happy to do whatever it took to make our experience pleasant, including allowing us to take a car out to drive for several hours. It was a five star experience, start to finish.

Not so Great Experience from Reputed Dealer

Recently, I purchased a Honda 2010 model and I experienced an unfriendly attitude, misquoting and sloppy work. Before visiting the dealer, it was promised by one of the sales rep to be offered $1000 discount on the listed car price. When i later decided to purchase the car, they first were reluctant to give the promised $1000 discount but agreed to move forward after some persistence. However, they increase the car list price to couple of hundred dollars to offset the discount. After signing the deal, I noticed the list price and double checked it on their website. So, when i visited them back after 2 days to make the remaining payments, they backed out and said the list price was not there when I purchased the car. When I showed them the printout from their website with the market list price, they said there is no print date mentioned the paper. It was really an embarrassing situation as they were questioning the customer's intentions who are willing to purchase expensive cars from them. Later, the dealer rep started behaving arrogantly and threatened to call off the deal. However, another dealer rep came back and agreed to reduce the list price by half the difference. Later on, when we were signing the paperwork and doing the payment, they miscounted the cash and gave wrong receipt. I got multiple calls from them next day asking that money was short. When i double checked on my side, it was correct so I paid them back the difference. I also provided them the printout with date on it about the list price I shared with them. They said they will check with their IT department to see it did happened. I am still unsure if I will get the full discount on the listed price.

Awesome Experience!

I had the best experience at David McDaniel Auto. Daniel (Dan) Ulner was a joy to work with. As a USAF vet , I value honesty and integrity and I appreciated those qualities in my experience with him. He wasn't pushy, I didn't feel like he was trying to pull wool over my eyes, from the beginning we were very straight forward with each other and he was very helpful. He answered all my questions and entertained any uncertainty I had. I highly recommend this dealership. Everyone was pleasant and treated me with respect.
