Needed some cheap service and parts

by from West Las Vegas, Nv |

I own a 2005 Volvo s80 2.9L which I bought new from Volvo of LV and it needed a Mass Air Flow + 4 oxygen Sensors in order to be ready for emissions test. The Volvo Dealer wanted $369 for the Air Flow, and $197. for each sensor total was $960 plus tax before installation at $397 making a total of about $1700. I went to a nearby Auto Zone, they said the Mass was $159.99 and the cheapest sensor was $99.99 for one and $208.99 for the back one on one side and the other side was $283.99. and $243.99 was $995 in parts alone before tax. I drove by the SkyLine Casino one day and saw Auto Rey's Service Sign and was intreaged because I always saw cars for sale, but never new they also did parts and service. I saved over $400. on OEM parts buying them through Auto Rey's sources and yes, NEW parts, and they did the labor for $200. It took them the amount of time it took me to walk across the street to eat at the SkyLine Casino's Café $2.99 breakfast special and a coffee to walk across again and drive away. Auto Rey is short staffed, but with a good appointment, Bruce and Ray helped me out Quicker and Cheaper then I could find myself. Thanks again to my Rebel Connections. Rossana Gomez

I was impressed with Auto Rey's No Credit Checks

by from Las Vegas, Nevad |

Auto Rey does it old school. They don't check your credit at all, but they do require a bigger down payment. I went inside trying to buy a cheaper car (rated C at their store) at $995.00 and though I thought it was worth the buy plus sales tax. I noticed that for $5.00 more I could buy a better car (rated B) for $1,000 Down and payments of $249 a month. They sell service contracts for $295 which covers your car for one year, and if anything goes wrong or it needs repair, you have a deductible of $50 or $25 depending on the service and hours it takes. I am still making payments, and enjoy being able to go to the same place for service instead of getting beat up by mechanic shops or Franchise Service centers. This Small local Car Lot is worth checking out. The inventory is always ready to go. The Salesman Ray said they buy mostly Trade-Ins from New Car Stores then trying to pick up cars from auctions.
