A Great Dealer for Sales AND Service

My wife and I have purchased four Cadillacs from Rickenbaugh's and had five serviced there so far over the years. The latest, purchased through Peter Dimond and Mike Moxley, was just as relaxed and easy as the others. Other reviewers have mentioned being like "family" and that's exactly right. Of equal importance is the quality of service provided after the sale. Over the years I've come to know all of the Service staff (one the Cadillac side) and they will bend over backwards to take care of your car. They're completely honest; you'll never buy something you don't need, and they do the job right the first time.

SUSPECTED MISDIAGNOSIS

I had just bought the 2003 Deville the day before and did not have time to check out what I could or read the manual. I first asked for a thorough inspection (which, in retrospect, may not have been thorough or the problem would possibly not have occurred). I did notice that one of the switches on the driver's seat was not working. I pointed to that exact switch. The service writer insisted that it was for lumbar control. I had no choice but to believe him and authorized that repair based on his assurance. I am thinking the mechanic also took his word without double checking. After the (bogus?) lumbar control was replaced, they said the recliner motor also needed to be replaced. THAT WAS THE PROBLEM THAT SHOULD HAVE BEEN DIAGNOSED AND FIXED IN THE FIRST PLACE.

POOR PROBLEM SOLVING

Service writer did not diagnose problem correctly. Mechanic should have double checked before making repairs. Real problem was found later, but should have been found in an initial inspection which was supposed to be thorough.

After 35 years of hard work, I was finally able to buy my first new car. I had been shopping for about 3 months, visiting pretty much all the dealerships around the metro area. Ryan at Rickenbaugh treated me like a valued customer from our very first hand shake. He listened to my needs, and answered any questions I had like a professional. Salesmen at the other dealerships could learn from Ryan on how to treat customers. I felt no pressure to buy something other than what I wanted. I've been dealing with Rickenbaugh for some 19+ years and there is a reason for that and it all comes back to your people. I have made friends here and while some have gone on to retirement, Ryan Nienhueser has filled the void seamlessly. Great Buying Experience

Out experience with Rickenbaugh Cadillac and Volvo was superb. Ryan Nienhueser was very helpful and professional. He took us through the USAA buying process for ordering a 2013 ATS4 2.0T to our specs. He also kept us updated on the cars manufacturing progress and did a great job explaining all the technological features of the car on delivery. The lease process with their finance department was smooth as silk. We had such a great experience that when it came time to get another car, we went back to Rickenbaugh, but this time for a Volvo. Ryan introduced us to Ton Mroz, who took us on a couple of test drives and helped us find he perfect 2013 S60 T6 R Design. We love both our cars, but even more so the great experience at Rickenbaugh. Highly recommended!!!!!!
