Good Dealership-Good Cars

I called and ask if they still had a particular used car still in inventory. I was told yes, and within an hour was at the dealership. Rob a Sales Associate approached my son and I and were shown the vehicle I inquired about. The appearance of the vehicle was excellent. We test drove it and it met our approval. We had looked at the car fax sheet before going to the Dealership. You usually don't find a 2001 used car at this type of Dealership, so I figured they looked it over closely and found the vehicle very sound. Good enough for me, we reached an agreeable price on the car and I bought it. Thanks Rob and Mr Watson too!!!

Not a good experience. Submitted request for info on a car I saw on cars.com on a Saturday and got no response. Called dealership direct on Sunday and they said car was sold. Car was still listed on cars.con and dealer web page the following Monday. Called again to see if maybe a buyer had sacked out...nope still sold Yet still listed as available. Following week started search again and the car is still listed on both sites as available. Called dealership again just to see and of course the car was sold. Of course they were happy to try a sell me a different car, just not the one I wanted. Very unprofessional. In 2014 your web page should be up to date unless your goal is a bait and switch sale.

Long time service customer

I move from Illinois to Scottsdale in 2006. I have had my 2004 MDX serviced there since then. My service coordinator is Ray Courtney and he has been nothing but exceptional. If there were a coupon or special available to help defray the servicing cost, he always menitoned it or applied one. If you purchase a vehicle from Acura NS, ask to have Ray made your service coordinator! I was always offered a loaner, even for little stuff (but usually declined and waited for it) Yes, service there is pricey. You can get oil changed at Danny's or other quickie places for about half the price but my vehicle has been running beautifully for 9 years, going over 115K miles with no major issues. They applied my extended warranty whenever it was applicable, never arguing over it's application. A dealership is only as good as how they back it up with service. And one more note about Acura service. On my way to Palm Springs in 2010, my engine light came on half way between Quartzite and Blythe. Not a good spot to breakdown. I called Ray and he said to call ahead to PS Acura, explain the issue and see what could be done, all as I am still driving. PS Acura said to keep an eye on the temp gauge. Temp stayed normal and we rolled into PS Acura. Tom Mendoza, the service guy there was all ready for my arrival. He had made an extraordinary arrangement for a loaner, hard to come by over the big 2 week sports event. I drove to the hotel first to drop off our stuff and had planned to drive back to dealship for service. The hotel guy said to uncap my gas tank to equalize pressure in the tank and low a behold, the light went out and stayed out. The point being, Tom went out of his way to assist an (not even one of their own) Acura customers in need. Now that is what I call good customer service.

Tricky sales tactics

i had already narrowed down the model and vehicle to buy and found it on their site, then exchanged several emails with the internet mgr who was very helpful. we arranged a meeting time to do the deal, however the internet mgr had a new price for me. apparently they don't include when quoting prices the items that are already on the car which are add-on costs, such as tint, weather protection, etc.... which added a couple thousand dollars. i felt this was misleading to tell me here's the price and when you get in there you find it's the price + $xxxx.xx . This is dishonest and i will never do business with this dealer.

Best Car Buying Experience, Ever!

Ray (sales person) & Tony (sales manager) were awesome. I leasing a 2013 ILX and I absolutely LOVE this car! Both Ray & Tony were very helpful & accommodating. They helped me find the exact car I wanted; and when it was looking like they might not have the "perfect match" in stock, Tony was prepared to accommodate me if I were without a car between turning in my leased TSX & the arrival of the new ILX. My husband & I attempted to haggle, which was totally unnecessary. This dealership did not grossly inflate their prices with ridiculous add-ons; just a quality car at the right price. I leased my previous TSX from Acura of Peoria, and while I plan to stay loyal to Acura in the future, I would NEVER return to Acura of Peoria again. Theye sneaky with the add-ons & sneak in extras if youe not careful. I an Acura of North Scottsdale girl from here on out :)

5 Stars for Tony Rubbo and Ray Ryan!

I called Acura of North Scottsdale looking for a used TL advertised on Cars.com. Apparently the dealership was very busy and there were no sales people to take my call. So the dealership sales manager (Tony) took my call. Tony used the current incentives from Acura to structure a deal for my wife and I to purchase a brand new TL. Tony was straight forward, honest, and didn't insult my intelligence with negotiating games. If we came to the dealership, Tony said he would have a sales person help us in any way we wanted. Ray Ryan was the sales person we worked with to pick out our TL. I cannot say enough good things about these two gentlemen and Acura of North Scottsdale. We highly recommend you take the time to visit this dealership - you won't be disappointed.
