Happy Old Man

I want to tell you before you go to any other dealership and get the bait and switch, beaten up, and be held hostage go to Courtesy Ford in Brooklyn CT. The entire process from initial contact with Danielle in the Internet Sales Dept, to my 2 sales people Ryan & Rob was the best I have ever had at a dealership. I dealt Greg and Jeff the Sales Manager who both did everything possible to make the deal. John Torres the GM has a great team. They respect him and his customer service oriented way of selling cars. John joined in on the process together they all met my criteria to make the deal happen. They got me into the car I came to buy, no money down, payment and interest rate I needed. Many dealerships bump up the interest rate the bank offers to get a piece of the action, not here they got me a lower rate then first offered in order to make the monthly payment work. Last thing I am a proud veteran (Rob one of my salesmen is a vet as well). Without me asking, or even knowing Ryan & Rob set my wallpaper on the touch screen of my new car to an Air Force & Military theme. This was after the deal was done, papers were signed they did it because they are caring good people. Go to Courtesy Ford, I promise you, you won't regret it.

Poor handling of refund

On Sunday, April 17, 2016, my husband and I, went to Courtesy Ford in Brooklyn, CT to check on a 2012 Jeep Wrangler. The jeep was scheduled for service so we could not test drive it. We filled out paper work and gave sales person $100 deposit. He stated the money was refundable and the purchase of the vehicle was subject to test drive it when service was completed. So we had an appointment to go back next day on Monday after 3PM. Then Monday at noon, I called the dealership and spoke with a manager to let them know that we decided not to buy the jeep and requested him to refund us the $100 deposit. Three days later, on Thursday evening, I called dealership because the money was not refunded, they did not know why my money was not refunded. There's no excuse for not processing refund since we did not purchase vehicle and I requested the manager to refund deposit. The way they handled my request is unacceptable, not professional and really bad customer service.

F150 Purchase

I purchased a used 2014 F150 from Courtesy in early March. I worked with Rob Challinor who was my salesman. He was friendly and attentive to our needs as well as very knowledgeable of the product. He was initially working with the used car general salesman who no longer works there and he made the process a nightmare. Shortly after my wife and I decided to leave, Jeff Wilson(general salesman) stepped in and really worked with use to get us into the truck that we wanted and was right for us. We were very pleased with both Rob and Jeff. Together they worked seamlessly to meet our needs. We would look to them again in the future when purchasing another vehicle.

New Car purchase

We recently were in the market for a new car. We went to another dealership and we were pressured to buy a car we did not want. We went to Courtsey and we worked with Rob. He listen to what we wanted in a new car and there was no pressure to buy the car on their lot. He then spendt the next two days looking for a car with everything we wanted. The process in buying the car was easy and the everyone at the dealership was exception and did everything we needed to complete the purchase

Very friendly

Every one there is extremely friendly. I tried 3 other dealer ships before I found them and I felt like I was dragged in the dirt by the other dealer ships. When I met Jeff frenette he made sure I understood what he was telling me before moving on. They didn't try and push a car on me that they wanted me in. I would really recommend courtesy ford

Great experience

Overall great experience buying my new Ford Edge. I had excellent customer service from Jeff Frenette, as well as the overall team at the dealership. Also, it all went very quickly. Much to my surprise, I was able to leave the dealership with my new car, after the team stayed after-hours to make it all happen.
