Walter the Sales Manager

Recently visited Roundtree Ford, Shreveport. After being shown a car the sales person asked to introduce his manger. I waited to be greeted in the lobby. Sales person came back out and asked for me to come into the sale managers tower. Where we were introduce to "Walter" who had just finished sticking a wade of chew into his mouth, his spit cup sitting on the raised counter, where he sat raised above us and stook out his hand aoround the spit cup. As he started to talk a lady from the lobby interupted to tell him two customers had complained about the loud lobby music. About one of the most unprofessional exchanges I have ever had. Total lack of customer service. My son commented as we walked out saying we would be crazy to do business with someone like that. And he was right. Honestly I think even the sales person was shocked to see just how awakard and uncomfortable the exchange was. Not the way to sell new cars or to show customers are the focus. Sorry Ford this is one dealership that needs some real managers. And no I was not looking for a truck! Horrible customer service by Walter! The last person I would want managing my sales team!

Very Disappointed

took my 07 mustang in cause check engine light was on. car has been slightly modified, i.e., a sports tune. they kept the car 3 days then called to tell me they couldn't work on it. said it was TOO modified. took it to a local mechanic who found the problem was a wire against the header, took about an hour to fix. I was way past disappointed that the dealer didn't even look at my car and took 3 days to tell me that. I thought a ford dealer would at least look at a ford car. my Honda dealer said they would have at least looked at it. guess I should have taken my ford to the Honda dealer, better service. goes without saying, I sure wouldn't buy a car from a dealer with this kind of service policy.
