GREAT SERVICE

by from Crookston MN |

Corwin Honda is a quality repair facility with a friendly staff. My recent experience with the service dept was nothing but the best. Quality repair and extremely knowledgable staff make this dealership one of the best.

Bought 2012 Honda CRV at 5pm June 14th, by 8pm figured out had cold start problem (variable timing actuator) had fixed june 18th under warranty supposedly car had 50 point inspection (I would suggest a 51 point inspection). Never got call backs or e-mail response from sales or sales manager, Now july 7th license for car still hasnt been processed, some lame excuse about being too busy!! Poor, very poor after sales experience even the service manager gave us a hard time about engine noise (could be starter, will have to check oil ect) even though it had left their service bay after that wonderful 50 point inspection not 6 days earlier (btw Honda 2.4L are known for this vtc issue) Love the CRV feel got a good price on it BUT after sale a big thumbs down

HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE!!!!

by from Fargo, North Daktoa |

Attempted to purchase a car from Corwin Honda... It was the WORST experience I have EVER had.... Worked with this dealership for weeks!!!! Finally agreed upon a vehicle, price, and trade-in value. Had an appointment to sign the final paperwork and pay for my car at 5:30pm. With cashiers check in hand made out to Corwin Honda, I get a call at 5:10pm that someone is looking at the car and they will let me know in the next ten minutes if they buy it or not. ARE YOU KIDDING!!! Walk in to be told that they just sold the car that they made a deal with me on 5 hours earlier. Attempted to contact several upper management staff to never get a call back from!!! Sales manager wanted to offer me a free tank of gas and free oil changes (never seen) and called me the next day to tell me they have something close to what I was looking at for $3000 more. Beware!!!! Ended up going to Rydell in Grand Forks what a great dealership... Got the exact same car, lower miles, way more options, amazing sales staff and even delivered the car to me in Fargo. Thanks Corwin for absolutely NOTHING!!!! I will NEVER buy a car from them and will information everyone I come in contract with about my experience

Corwin Honda works hard to sell every customer that wants to buy a car we take a deposit when a customer is not in the dealership and wants to purchase a car to make it fair for everyone.Never was the management aware the car was sold or an appointment was made to do paperwork. We are sorry for that

Lifetime customer

by from Wahpeton, ND |

Purchased my car in March 2013, didnt intend on purchasing that day but was fortunate enought to have a saleman who listened to my crazy demands and found me the perfect car. This was my first time using a dealership to buy a car and now am ashamed at how much more convienent it was. I was able to not only buy a car I love but Corwin helped me stay in a payment range I was comfortable in. Matt Bauer was my salesman and I highly recommend him, my future customer status with Corwin is largely based on his professionalism and willingness to be patient. Aside from the customer service the lot and showroom was very inviting. When I purchased my car Corwin was very good about fixing what I didnt like and installing what I did, very pleased. Thank you Corwin, I am madly in love with my new 2012 Nissan Altima.

Worst Dealership Experience

by from Fargo, ND |

Owned Cars: Civic 2001, Civic 2010 I wanted to get my car ready for a long trip that I was going on this summer. Totally got ripped off and worst part is issues still exist and I paid $900 (Isn't that hilarious!). Salesman was very good at selling me what he wanted and didn't care much about issues I had with my car. As a result he managed to made me pay twice as much as I budgeted for car service without fixing any of the stuff I wanted fixed. Here is the list of issues I was concerned about and need fixed since I didn't wanted to take my vehicle in this condition on a long road trip. -Horn doesn't work. -Keyless entry does not work. -Oil change -Gear getting stuck at Parking -Car start issue sometimes( had something to do with battery terminals not clean) -Wheel alignment Issue Here is what really got fixed and what additional things were sold to me. -Oil change -4 brand new tires (Talked me into it, it didn't seem like a critical thing to me.) -axle fixing (They insisted to get this fixed and due to budget issue I had to compromise on other stuff) After leaving vehicle with them for 2 days when I got my vehicle back it seemed to be working at first but then during my trip things they "fixed" starts to break down again. And on the top of all that CRUISE CONTROL DOES NOT WORK ANYMORE. In short, They are great salesmen they know how to sell things they want to sell and they seemed least concerned about customer's problems. (My friends warned me, I wish I had listened to them.) Big fan of Honda but totally unsatisfied with Corwin Honda Services. Will be buying a new Honda Accord soon but NEVER EVER from Corwin.
