Was told to drop my car off for 730am appointment Monday
Was told to drop my car off for 730am appointment Monday morning so I would have my car back the same day. Individual even expressed that I could wait for my vehicle. I decide to just drop off. When I called in at 12pm on Monday, come to find out my vehicle still wasn't being worked on and due to the length of the service odds of my car being done by days end was not looking good. Was told I would get a call later that day of the progress and never received one. So naturally I called at 440pm due to the service department closed at 5pm and was told a message would be left for the individual dealing with my vehicle. Got a call at 540pm from said individual asking me why I called........This is the worst service department I have ever dealt with. I am now looking for another dealership seeing as how my household is looking to buy 2 new vehicles. I will never come back to this establishment. Worst experience I have ever had.....

This is a change from my previous stance, but the last
This is a change from my previous stance, but the last two experiences have been worse and worse. My wife was advised that staying with the vehicle to wait for an oil change and tire rotation might be longer than normal, no worries, we drop it off 3 hours early (convenience) and its returned to us in 2 hours (great), but just adds a needless drive back and forth that was completely avoidable. The people are very friendly, no issues with the employees. The prices arent their fault, but, they are clearly taught to be predatory. I understand the cost of everything is going up, but for a small vehicle oil change and tire rotation, the price has become untenable, and I will just perform the work myself. Couple that with the fact that it would be over $350 extra to change a cabin air filter (1 year old), engine air filter (one year old) and 3 wiper blades (which were 3 months old), its borderline insanity the markup and labor rate charged for simple jobs. I try to use the dealership solely for record keeping, but, I can do all those jobs for $100 on my own, in my driveway, and save $400. Its unfortunate, but is what it is. Local shops are much cheaper as well if you aren't able to do the work yourself. I used the service bulletin coupon I received in the mail for an oil change, and it saved a whopping $2 dollars. Why even mail it GMC? I love the GMC brand, and have two vehicles from GMC. I dont want to abandon the brand or anything, but, for routine work, the dealership isnt the place to seek that work to be done.

The Service department took care of my issues quickly,
The Service department took care of my issues quickly, Mike got me in same day, George Zervantaridis kept me informed of the status of the part that was ordered which was delivered overnight, was able to pick up my vehicle the next day, ..Well Done Scranton Motors!

I bought my car from them brand new zero mileage, a few
I bought my car from them brand new zero mileage, a few days later. Engine light come out in the car can’t be drive more than 20 miles an hour. They kept my car for eight days they didn’t even give me a loaner or even a ride back home. I got a call. It’s ready. When I picked up the car, they told me it was a sensor issue and they fixed it. I left the dealer. The same day engine check light came out again and my car wasn’t drivable. I have to go to a different GMC. Dealer and what they tell me this time is completely different. They have to replace something. connected to the engine.
