- Service & Repair
Toyota of Stamford was an American Dream established in 1969 by John F. McKale. He was raised in Vermont and had a very modest upbringing. A World War II veteran, he came back to the states to start a family and career in Connecticut with his wife and two sons. His wife's first generation Sicilian family grew up in Stamford with her six sisters. Their home was where Toyota of Stamford's showroom stands today.
In 1969 John McKale took what was seen, at the time, as a very big risk and purchased one of the first Toyota franchises in the United States. The rest is history. Thank you to all our wonderful and loyal customers for all their support

I came to Toyota of Stamford very unsure of what I wanted. Tom Purcell was the salesman I dealt with and he was so knowledgeable and helpful! I left the dealership in an amazing new car, and I couldn't be happier. When its time for a new car, I will definitely be back to this dealership!
