I went shopping last Friday for a new Ford to replace my old Dodge Pickup Truck. I had also been thinking about selling/trading my 4 year old Honda CRV for a new one a few months down the road. Well, I stopped to look a the new Subaru as I had seen them and herd they were tops on styling. Dan Willis, our salesman, greeted us immediately (unlike two other dealerships that day where were not even acknowledged after 5 minutes. Dan was knowledgeable, personable but not high pressure by any means. He guided us, explained the differences between the Outback and Forrester (we bought the Outback). We then went tothe Ford ealer down the street, and had, once again to ask for a sales person, who did not know much about the product and seemed hurried. Wow! Was it because I had ripped my jeans in the seat, and thus looked like I had no money? I don't know. So we gave up on the Ford/Pick-Up Trade, and decided to go ahead with the Outback/CRV trade. The car is beautiful. Though they are both good cars, the Outback is more technologically advanced and higher rated. Buying it was easy, not a lot of haggling back and forth, and we 've had.were in and out in a couple of hours. It was one of the best buying experiences we.
