I bought a 2003 silverado here 2 months ago fpr high book value. When i talked to them on the phone the only specific question i asked was if the frame was solid or if it was all rusted. They told me there was no rust this was a solid truck in great shape. It was raining and cold when i went down there and it looked just like they described it. Now 2 months later the paint tht they covered the completely rusted frame with is about all off along with the running board repairs they must have done. My mechanic wich ive used for years and trust tell me im gonna have to replace cross members before itll pass inspection again 1300. Leaf spring shackle broke after 1200 miles there was a 1/16" of steel and 1/4 inch of paint or something they used to make it look right. Thats just the frame. Motor sounded good for a week to now its knockin and makin another awful noise ive never heard before wheel bearings r gone. This truck wasnt even inspectable but they slapped a sticker on it and sold it for top dollar, sounded alright at the time it only had 86000 and it looked great when i bought it 2 months later its true colors r shining through, now im locked in to a 4 yr payment on a vehicle tht wont b inspectable in a yr without 2 grand worth of work and prob wont b inspectible at all before its paid off and i take very good care of my vehicles.
