It's a real bummer they have a new shady manager
I went to this dealership to trade in my Nissan leaf for a new car. So many people in Alan Web's dealerships think masks don't matter. Jamie at the Chevy dealership was friendly but her mask was literally hanging off her face. The manager who I learned was new at the Nissan Alan Webb dealership wasn't wearing his mask fully on his face either and immediately talked to me and addressed me in a way where he thought I was poor or something? The woman who helped us was awesome and I honestly felt bad for her. She did all this work and this manager was unreasonable. When it came to the paperwork portion this manager low balled my trade-in, offensively. I've literally found multiple place that will give me 2,500 more than their trade in offer. What was the most offensive about this is his reasoning and approach. He was frankly condensing in nature. "Does she know that she's upside down?" yeah I do. It's actually pretty standard to have negative equality on cars loan, averaging 2,000 or so. I'm not an idiot, I'm pretty familiar with the process. He then tried to tell me that the reason why he was low balling me so horribly was - "the car would just go to auction", sorry but my neighbor just bought my exact car for 11,000 and I've also done tons of research, the car is in good condition and low miles, there is no way it would go to auction. The other reasoning was that you could rent the car for 70 dollars a day. (Which would be a total of 2100 a month to go by the model) For some reason he thought that was an applicable reason to low ball me? I'm sorry but a random company's daily car rental cost has nothing to do with a car's market value. Low balling me 2500 under kelly blue book or car max and then using these excuses means either he's an idiot or he assumed that I was. I've gone to school for economics. I'm actually pretty familiar with how markets and loan processes work. Maybe because I'm a woman he thought that logic would be logical? I mean- I even offered to go a grand under the kelly blue book rate and he still didn't budge and pretty much mocked me trying to stand up to his predatory behavior. So I can confidently say I'll never return to an Alan Webb dealerships and I'll also be sure to let other people know they operate. Shady and manipulative sales practices. That man shouldn't have that job, period. The woman who helped us was lovely, it's bummer this guys manipulative and potentially misogynistic behavior left her without a sale she truly deserved.

Positive Experience
A couple nights ago on a leisurely walk I stopped by Alan Webb Mitsubishi to look at the 2018 Mirage G4 sedans they still had. I hadn't planned driving, let alone buying a car. I poked around on the lot for a bit, appreciative nobody came out to bother me (I'm lean towards being introverted, I'll come to you instead of you coming to me). I decided I wanted to drive one and went inside and was greeted by Phillip. We drove two cars, and then talked numbers. At no point was he pushy, yet he still was actively trying to sell me a car, sort of a win for both of us. I decided I wanted to do another longer test drive the next day. That night I read and watched many reviews on the G4, as well as figuring out possible payments, and submitting a credit application online. The next day, prior to going in for the longer drive, I emailed Phillip just to re-clarify the challenges with credit, down payment, and the title of my trade in. He assured me they could work with this no problem, and to come in for the drive. I made it in later that afternoon and we took a longer drive, this time on a route I picked. At this point a car had been picked out (the one I was driving) and when we got back to the lot, they got started on getting the formal loan approval. It actually was a pretty quick process, and I did get approved at a payment in the range I requested, and not even at the top of the range. They also gave me a very fair amount for my trade, worked with a low down payment, and further discounter the already heavily discounted car. when I came back to sign the papers, I had a small wait and then everything was good to go! During this whole process, Phillip was always friendly, courteous and personable. I felt very comfortable with him (and the other employees there). Even if (or maybe especially if) Mitsubishi isn't on your shopping list, still stop buy Alan Webb Mitsubishi and see what they got for you. Ask for Phillip, he'll treat you great!

Want to be treated like a person? Well, keep going
I purchased a used 2011 Mitsubishi Eclipse GT from Alan Webb Mitsubishi located at 3608A NE Auto Mall Dr., Vancouver, WA 98662. As an owner of multiple Eclipse vehicles, I knew exactly what I wanted and drove the some 115 miles to check it out and purchase. This vehicle was purchased in August of 2016. I have waited so long to post my review as I was waiting to see the end result of how the lot would handle the remaining details that needed to be taken care of. As you can see, it is a year later. The car met my expectations for the most part, it was within what I wanted. I questioned the front passenger panel as it seemed a tad loose. The man in charge of purchases at the time, AC, assured me that they just neglected tightening it back up after inspection of the vehicle and that it would be taken care of, etc. I was provided with a car facts report that was excellent of course. AC assured me that he had this vehicle run through every inspection and he was present, no damage, no accidents. Later I found there was damage covered up, AC admitted partly knowing this with a patch job. Car was fixed up to their standards but not OEM causing out of pocket expense to me later. I had to fight for the sale price listed on their site and AutoTrader, they tried to mark up the price in the paperwork. Employee kept the adapter to plug phone in to the AUX system and they would not send it to us, causing me to replace it out of pocket. Small $ but still annoying. After all this, my grievance with the lot is I purchased a new key cover as the key was held together with tape and a set of paint to fill in a couple small chips in the paint. I purchased this. It was not part of the deal. I STILL HAVE NOT RECEIVED MY ITEMS. I have made about 17 attempts through calling and text message. Several months ago I sent them a bill and letter asking for a refund so I can purchase it locally with no reply. I have been calling once a week all month to speak with a supervisor. I was told yesterday that a supervisor would more than likely not get back to me as they are too busy. After everything, this is the part that really digs into me. I will never be back to this lot. I have filed a complaint with Mitsubishi directly as well. A year is more than enough time to fix this.
