Great experience
I found DC Motors after looking and speaking with many dealerships about a particular vehicle. WHAT A DIFFERENCE! I had a great experience and recommend them. The team at DC Motors provided vehicle information above and beyond anyone else, with lots tips, and genuinely interested in my satisfaction with the vehicle. They are comfortable to work with, honest and forthcoming with their knowledge of the vehicle and do what they say they will do. They are at the top of my list for the next time I am looking for a vehicle.

I am a new and satisfied customer. Being a woman with little to no car knowledge, they provided 100% accurate info. Not the case with me in the past. They certainly restored my trust in car dealers and mechanics. They didn't add unnecessary work and only did what was needed. I'd recommend my closest friends.

DC Motors (used to be "Milford Auto Annex") sold us a beautiful, clean little used sedan as our daughter's first car. He gave us a more-than-reasonable price, and even threw in some important extras to make sure our new driver would be safe on the road. All the guys at DC Motors were friendly and honest, and didn't give me any high-pressure sales talk (not even on extended warranties!), which I really appreciated. A great experience from start to finish, our daughter loves her car, and I would recommend DC Motors to anyone!

New car failed inspection, they want to make money
I live near by this auto shop. I have been getting my car inspected at this location for so many years with the older owner. The older business was sincere, honest, and respectable service. Things are different and real bad with new owner this year. It failed inspection because of break pads and rotors. With my driving habit, my older Toyota needed to replace the breaks after 150K driving (first tire replacement after 120K). My new Toyota was 40K and I did not expect a failed inspection. I was wrong. The guy at DC Motor told me that my car failed the inspection and need a new set of break pads rotators for $650. I refused the repair. When my mechanic friend (who lives 2 hours away) took out the pads, it measured 7/16", rather than the less than required 1/16 to fail. When I brought my break-repaired-when-not-needed car back, I only waited 2 minutes and then told new inspection sticker was done and I can drive out. I do not think he even looked at the new brake knowing the old pads would pass. This business is dishonest, unethical, abuse the inspection power they were given by the NH state, and fail inspections un-necessary for their own profit. I did not buy car from this business, I only have a single car service with them, I cannot say how they do their car sales. I would not expect any sale deal considering they would abuse their inspection power to make money from me (and you).

Hello BT, thank you for taking the time to provide this feedback. I would like to start by saying that my name is Alan and while I currently work for DC motors, I am also the owner of the business you mentioned that was here previously. While I appreciate your compliments, I assure you that DC Motors operates with the same level of integrity and commitment to safety that we did in the past. While I did not do your inspection myself, I did speak with our technician, who explained to me that your passenger side rear inner pad was very nearly metal on metal, and was definitely less than the 1/16" lining thickness required by law. He also explained to me that the outer pads, which are easier to see, were thicker, and at first glance, it would look as though they were fine. What's interesting is your suggestion that you still had 7/16" of brake lining. We measured a set of brand new rear brake pads for your vehicle, and right out of the box, they measure .38" of lining, which is less than the 7/16" you measured. This tells me it's possible you were measuring something different from lining thickness as specified in the inspection rules. Your suggestion that he did not verify new brake pads had been installed upon your return is a baseless accusation and is absolutely untrue. To state in a public forum that we are dishonest and unethical without coming in to talk to us first is unfair at best. That being said, I personally have nearly 30 years experience as a licensed NH Inspector. Please bring me the pads you removed and I would be happy to measure them with you. If the linings on the rear pads are as thick as you say, we will gladly refund your money for the inspection, and reimburse you for the cost of the pads you purchased. I truly wish we could have had this conversation before you left such an accusatory review, but that doesn't change our commitment to doing honest work and customer satisfaction. A bad service with the vehiclesAnd they tell you that they are going to call you and you do not call, only when they need to sell the vehicle there, yes, they are calling you a thousand times, they do not help you with anything, I was calling for several days to see if they can help me with the guarantee of my vehicle to fix the transmission and they are not able to call or do anything.The owner is not honest at the beginning I made you or do not worry that all God will fix it if something happens, no, but in the end he does nothing, he only deceives you look, I have been waiting for so long I have 14 days of the car put in a workshop hoping that their guarantee is going to see it and it doesn't.
