Purchased a 2014 Ford Roush Raptor from this dealership
Purchased a 2014 Ford Roush Raptor from this dealership with 95k miles on the clock. I live in Greenville, SC so I couldn't test the vehicle before purchase, but I am familiar with these trucks so I knew what I was buying. I spoke to Regis at Illinois Motors and he recommended I go to URW for a vehicle inspection. Not sure if this recommendation was a good idea since they are friendly to each other. Vehicle was inspected and I bought it with multiple diagnostic trouble codes, so yes, these are my issues to resolve. I'm very capable with complex repairs so I took full responsibility for the error codes. What I did not expect was a check engine light right off the delivery truck indicating a severe misfire of cylinder 6. Pulled plug and coil... coils are new from Illinois Motors, but the plugs looked like they were pulled from the bottom of the ocean. Rusted and severely worn. Why replace coils and not plugs? Especially given how hard it is to replace the coils. While replacing the plugs, which required removal of the front wheels, I find the 4x4 IWE vacuum system a complete shambles. All the lines were broken and would not provide for proper operation of the 4x4 system. This is where I start to scratch my head. The truck makes a horrible noise when coasting probably caused by lack of disengagement of the 4x4 system on normal roads. Occupants hear and comment on it, so not my imagination. URW and Illinois Motors said they checked the 4x4 system, and in fact it does operate in 4x4, but as I noted, it will not properly disengage. I don't see how either company could not hear the noise coming from the driveline when the vehicle was coasting (as noted, friends who know nothing about vehicle repair could hear it, but Illinois Motors and URW could not?!). To their credit, Illinois Motors reimbursed me for the plugs, but no support for the severely damaged vacuum system. In fact, I can tell that my emails indicating the additional problems I'm experiencing with my $40k vehicle are starting to frustrate them. The 4x4 vacuum lines are inexpensive, less than $100, but when you spend over $40k for a vehicle, you expect the basic systems to be fully functional. When I pointed this out to Illinois Motors, they told me they fixed it before it left... IMPOSSIBLE. If you buy from Illinois Motors, get an inspection from someone that KNOWS THE VEHICLE IN QUESTION. I love the truck, but I have my hands full resolving nits and nats. Good luck!

I worked with Regis on a 2000 Corvette and can say it was
I worked with Regis on a 2000 Corvette and can say it was the easiest buying experience. I’d asked to have the front fender alignment looked at and he had it fixed along with a missing trim piece. The car was in excellent shape and all modifications were disclosed. He’s very knowledgeable and easy to work with. Pricing was very fair and I was in and out within a half hour on the day of pick-up. You can tell he genuinely enjoys the work he does and it shows. Thank you Regis and everyone at Illinois Motors for helping me find my dream car.

Found vehicle at this location and was told by the sales
Found vehicle at this location and was told by the sales person Alan , that this is a SOLID vehicle. So I purchased it in cash and had it shipped to my house just to find out that it has broken flex plate, which is a MAJOR issue. The transmission needs to be taken out to repair it. They send me a USED part, but are not covering cost of replacement or even splitting it with me. They also LIED to me that all fluids were checked. They were NEVER checked. Iam retired NISSAN technician of 25 years and know these cars really well. DONT BUY FROM THIS PLACE....They will happily take your money and then they are done with you.

Well, there may have been some poor experiences for some,
Well, there may have been some poor experiences for some, but my experience was exceptional. Alan answered all my questions prior to flying out from PA to IL. Even picked me up at the airport. The pictures provided matched up exactly with the car when I viewed in person. There were a couple of niggles with the car and Alan graciously offered to take care of them. Found Alan to be candid, gracious, helpful and honest. Office support, Brittni had more patience than I might have when talking with PNC for funding verification. I would recommend Illinois Motors and the whole process with no reservations.

Illinois Motors Review
Purchased a car from Regis at Illinois Motors in Cary. Car was purchased from out of state . He made the whole process seamless. He took a video of the car and pointed out the only blemish on one of the rims. Regis arranged transportation to my house and the car arrived on time as promised and in the condition as advertised. Could not have been easier and the car is great. Thanks Regis

Great experience
I've been purchasing vehicles for the past 40 years and wanted to share our experience after buying a Ford Shelby from Illinois Motors. We agreed on a price to trade our vehicle for the Shelby, and the entire process was the most honest, hassle-free, and painless experience. The entire team, Phil, Regis, and Asim, treated us with the utmost respect and made the exchange of vehicles quick and easy. I'm not an experienced online car shopper, but Illinois Motors took care of everything and I would recommend this car dealership to everyone. Thanks

85 Mustang
Overall the experience was easy and painless. Talked to Alan over the course of a few days with a bunch of requests, like send me a million pictures of the under body, do you ship out of state, will you hold the car for me for a few days, and more. He was always quick to answer. The paperwork, notably being done remotely, was easy. Sending payment, also easy. The car showed up as advertised. No rust, paint in great shape, interior mint, runs well. Not too bad for a 37 year old car. And let me mention about after sale customer support. While registering this car in my state, they needed some more info. While standing at the desk, and texting the Alan, he got someone to send the docs over that they needed to the dmv so I didn't have to come back another day to finish it up.
