False CPO Advertising – Proceed with Caution I was very interested in a 2021 Mercedes-Benz GLE 450 advertised as a Certified Pre-Owned vehicle by this dealership. When I initially contacted the salesperson, I was told the car had already passed inspection, had new tires and brakes, and was fully certified under the Mercedes-Benz CPO program. I made a fair and firm out-the-door offer and was ready to finalize the deal. However, after further back-and-forth, multiple salespeople admitted that the vehicle was not yet certified, and that they were still “waiting on the tech” to complete the process. This contradicts what I was told, what was listed online, and what’s required by Mercedes-Benz USA for a car to be marketed as CPO. I also noticed an unexplained $495 fee labeled as “Financed Aftermarkets” for a used car I didn’t request any extras on — another red flag. This dealership listed a car as CPO, confirmed verbally that it was CPO, and then changed the story once I started asking questions. This kind of misrepresentation wastes buyers’ time and undermines trust in the Mercedes-Benz brand. I walked away from the deal — not because I didn’t want the car, but because I refuse to do business with a dealership that isn’t transparent. I hope Mercedes-Benz USA takes note, and I encourage other buyers to ask for written CPO documentation before agreeing to anything.

Please beware of the service department staff damaging
Please beware of the service department staff damaging your Mercedes and not notifying you at all. I took my 2019 Mercedes to the Dick Dyer Mercedes service department after paying $3100 for services I drove off with a broken wiper blade in the rear and side swiped doorknob. It took three weeks to get my wiper blade fixed. Then, after getting in a heated useless argument with the service manager about damaging my vehicle's door knob, he agreed to repair the damages. A third party painter did a deplorable job on my doorknob. Then, the truck paint was scraped also when placing name plates in the back. If I had another Mercedes dealership that was nearby, I would never take my SUV there again. 👎😕😠. Damage SUV Mercedes that was not damaged when I brought the vehicle in to be serviced. And, horrible service manager and unprofessional when handling customer complaints.

Would give zero if I could. Worst experience at a dealer! 3k later problem fixed now I have another one they caused . Not to mention they had me come pick it up and guess what not fixed. They didn’t even check they had my car for a month. Had to rent a car . You think for $300 an hour you would get good service nope the car drivers were more competent than sales reps! Go to Augusta to take your Benz…
