Recently was trying to purchase a car here. After over an hour and a half of discussion over a vehicle and then price negotiations, I finally tell the salesman I will buy it at their price. However, a family had just come in about 5 minutes before, and the salesman returns to me and says that the family is trying to buy the vehicle as well and they have to give them the inside track because, and I quote, "the dad can co-sign IBM." Then I was told that if that didn't work out they'd give me a call. Even though I had been there for well over an hour and a half trying to purchase the vehicle. I have never felt more disrespected as a buyer and I don't suggest anyone to go try and do business here. They preach customer service and loyalty is most important to them, but that is obviously not the case here.

not very happy!!!!

i have just recently bought a 2014 chevy malibu at bill jacobs. i went threw the whole process and was very excited to drive home in my new car. after getting home they call me and say now they want my w2. i have already gave them my pay stubs and was approved signed all the papers put my down payment and everything. well my w2 was electronic and i dont have it which i told them but they keep calling and asking for it. i feel like if that was something they needed they should of asked before giving me the car. i should be happy about having the car that i really wanted but instead im just stressed out.

Hello, my name is Bill and I'm part of the customer care team at Bill Jacobs. I want to first thank you for choosing Bill Jacobs for your 2014 Malibu. I want to apologize that the financing process has not gone as smoothly as both you and our team would have liked. When working with our lenders they will let us know what stipulations they need for a vehicle to be finance and most times proof of income is required. Therefore we will make copies of check stubs to send to the lender. The majority of the time that is sufficient but on rare occasions the lender will ask for more information such as a W2. Again I am very sorry that we hit this bump in the road but I hope you can understand that we're just the middle man in this case trying to help both you and the lender. Made an appointment for an oil change 5 day a ago. Arrived at Joliet location before SCHEDULED appointment for an oil change. Were told that we would need to wait 2.5 hours. We specifically drove from Morris to come back here due to the friendly service and turnaround time we had on last visit. They are now just a few months ago. Could gave saved the gas money and had the change done locally which is what we will now have to do. There was also an issue even getting waited on. My wife was waiting in line and when another person came in, they were waited on first. The gentleman was kind enough to tell the associate that my wife was there before him. Bill Jacob ' s Service needs a tune up.

Seamless experience

great place to do buisness

I went to the dealership to buy a used late model cargo van ,Scott the salesman showed me what they had, I found one that was in my price range.I had a trade that they gave me a fair price for and we struck a deal Scott was knowledgable of what I wanted and needed and made it happen .I had a few minor details a few days later that I needed looked at and used car manager Eddy told me to come down as soon as I wanted and he would take care of my problems I did and he did just that.I will come back to the dealership to buy my next van or car and I will recommend friends and family also to shop there first it was a good experience and I have been in many dealerships over the years and this one rates # 1 as far as i am concerned.....Bob N.

Easiest Deal I Ever Made!

Went in knowing what I wanted to look at (seen online), was immediately helped by the staff and was test driving the car I seen within 15 minutes. One hour later had my deal, no hassling, no haggling, got the price I needed and an extended warranty. Best car buying experience I ever had! Thanks Bill Jacobs

Bought an equinox several years ago. Had problems with the spare tire well flooding whenever it would rain which required it to be taken in 6 times and the problem was never fixed, this isn't unique to my equinox if you research online. After a heavy rain the water leaked into the lock of the rear hatch and shorted that out making it impossible to open the hatch. Jacobs said the flooding was due to normal wear and tear and it wasn't covered and would cost almost $600 to repair. Jacobs has made my decision to never buy another GM car again an easy one

Professional and kind

I recently purchased a 2013 Camaro from Bill Jacobs, and I am very satisfied with my purchase. the car is just "wowwwww." There are no words to describe how professional the customer service is. The customer service was very helpful in asking all my questions and setting for me the cheapest price I could get for the car. The people were overall very helpful, particularly Raoul who drove for 100 miles in the heavy rain to come pick me up in order for me to see the car (I did not have the ride), bearing the risk that I could refuse to purchase the car. He then showed me everything I needed to know about the car. I left the place at 11: Pm and there were still people available to answer all my questions. This is a very great dealer I would definitely recommend them, for they are cheap and professional.
