we brought it in for a headlight and oil change . They found a problem with a "check engine " and also a defect in the timing chain.---good pm----we do not want a failure

Great Service Department

I feel Nucar Mazda has the best service department! John Stidham and the mechanics do a fantastic job from greeting you upon entering and working to make sure your Mazda is at its best. I have a Mazd dealership 10 minutes from my home and I travel 40 minutes to Nucar Mazda in Deleware because of this service group. I purchased my Tribute and them my CX5 there and I wouldn't go anywhere else. Thank you, Denise Carpenter

Great Service, Great People

You're honest and straight to the point, regardless if it's good or bad news, which is far better than what I deal with at a shop for my wife's van (they are not Mazda, so all good :) ). The vehicle you service for me is 10+ years and approaching 180k miles, yet your shop does a great job keeping it a safe option for my family and road-ready. You have helped me balance the decision on whether or not a trending-maintenance issue is necessary or more of a 'want' and in a lot of cases, it ended up being a 'want' and we passed on your advice at the time and all ended well, let alone, it allowed me to put money away on a monthly basis to be prepared as it approached more of a 'need'. The other place we used to deal with (my wife's van) would tell us how urgent and dangerous it would be to put it off. Stuff like this is what stands you far above others. You help me understand the reality of it, even when that means the maintenance is put off for months or even a year or two! I usually don't go out of my way to recommend a dealer-shop, based on my past experiences, particularly with the one we have dealt with for my wife's van, but NuCar Mazda (New Castle, DE) has definitely changed my opinion about that. I absolutely will recommend you to others, without a doubt and very easily so!
