Sysee Joel's She was the kindest, least intimidating

Sysee Joel's She was the kindest, least intimidating sales person we have ever worked with. Me and my husband always cringe at buying a new vehicle, but she made the process so easy, she was very wonderful to work with.

Sold me an emissions deleted used vehicle to me with

Sold me an emissions deleted used vehicle to me with oversized tires., the transmission went out and they tried to lie to the warranty company saying that it was not what they sold me. I took pictures of the truck the day it was picked up from the dealer ship and the add they posted on the website that led me to the truck. The 2010 dodge they sold me was emissions deleted and had oversized tires. I flew down to Anchorage Ak and met the salesman to pick up the vehicle. Really need a truck a bad way. I dealt with some of the largest crooks in the trade. I spent 30,000 dollars cash on the truck. I dealt with Isaac, Edgar Corona and Kenny Walton. the truck did not even make it from Anchorage Ak to Fairbanks. Ak. the trip was 480 miles before it stranded me. The vehicle was towed back to Fairbanks. I took it to Midas and MTR transmission in Fairbanks they are the most amazing people I know. Chad and Erin. The truck sat for 5 months, While the clowns at Chevrolet of South Anchorage did nothing until I contacted a lawyer. Chevrolet of south anchorage opened a claim with Assurant the warranty company in whom I purchased a warranty through at the dealership. Chevrolet of South anchorage delivered what was thought to be remanufactured transmission to the transmission shop 5 months later. The transmission shop installed what they brought. What they brought had no paperwork or any information whatsoever ever. the transmission shop (MTR of. Fairbanks) was told to install under warranty. So they did. When the truck was picked up, there was nothing to tell me what Chevy of South Anchorage installed or had the trans shop install. I am now 9000 miles on that transmission and had to have it towed home again. I took it back to MTR and have discovered Chevrolet of South Anchorage had not closed the paperwork with the warranty company and delivered what was a junk yard transmission. I called the dealership and the transmission shop has called many times and we are being ignored. I am contacting the EPA AS THEY KNOWINGLY SOLD AN EMISSIONS DELETED VEHICLE,Which is now what is considered a stuck asset. I cannot sell, trade or get rid of. I am out 30,000 cash. Whatever you do , do not go to Chevrolet of south Anchorage for any vehicle purchases.

Do not buy a vehicle here.

Do not buy a vehicle here. I bought a brand new Chevy pickup from this dealership. It was missing one little spring for the sunroof. When I picked it up after "repairs", it turned out one of the techs had ripped the headliner loose and broke the clips to hold it in place. Months later, repeated drop-offs, and repeated lies about the headliner being fixed, it appears this shop just will put in whatever minimal effort is required to get their customers to accept subpar service. Sending details and photos about my repeated attempts to get this shop to repair damage they caused to GM corporate. Every time I was in their service department other customers also appeared disgruntled, so it's not just me. This absolutely has to stop. Save yourself unnecessary trouble and stay away from this shop. See attached photos. Driver side is how it looked new. Passenger side is what it looks like after they tore it loose and then "repaired" it.

Transmission replacement on a 2015 GMC Sierra

advisor went to bat right away to get the transmission approved for a replacement instead of a rebuild through my warranty company. they also got my heated steering wheel replaced and my drivers heated seat fixed. do yourself a favor and take your GMC/Chevy product here to be repaired. I couldnt be happier with how quickly it was fixed

Sysee Jokela was very friendly and helpful in searching

Sysee Jokela was very friendly and helpful in searching for a much needed vehicle  My wife and I were one of the 37 vehicles involved in that terrible 37 car pile up on the Knik River Bridge this month and my Chevy Silverado was totaled.  We were in dire need of a new vehicle.  Sysee was very nice, and didn't push us to buy. She was very straightforward about what she could offer and what was available. I found her to be very honest. She sold a 2024 Chevy Silverado 4X4 to us and it was a seamless transaction.  Sysee followed through on everything she stated, and was 100% upfront, and honest. I definitely felt like she put what was in our best interest first. I can't stress enough how satisfied I am with my experience & will definitely be back when the time comes. If you're looking to sell or purchase a vehicle I HIGHLY recommend services through South Anchorage Chevrolet and seek out Sysee Jokela.

Silverado RST 1500

Steve was great. He worked with us and made sure the truck we drove off with, was worth our time.

These people will do anything to sell you a car.

These people will do anything to sell you a car. Fantastic customer service to get you to finance a new vehicle. But the service department is the worst I have ever dealt with. They incorrectly repaired my car….5 times. They replaced an ECT sensor and broke something within the oil pump. Instead of saying we broke something during the repair, and taking responsibility for their error. They covered it up and tried to seal the oil leak with RTV. This is GM Certified shop letting repairs go out the door like that. My car is still under warranty and the next shop I brought it to wanted to charge me $1,400 for the repair due to so much damage being done. AVOID THIS DEALERSHIP AT ALL COSTS. This has been a 7 month process of trying to get my car fixed, having been initially brought there for a thermostat issue. They use being busy as an excuse, well why are you in business if you don't want to be busy? Let’s give them what they are asking for and not patronize their business anymore. You'll be better off if you don't.
