Excellent Dealership and Toyota Reliability

Hats off again to Toyota Mall of Georgia and Sales Rep Eric Budhi for a pleasant and painless buying experience. This is the third new Toyota that I purchased from this dealership in the last 12 years. Just upgraded my 2001 Tundra for a 2013 Tundra D-Cab and will likely upgrade my 2002 4-Runner within the next couple of years for a new 4-Runner or Highlander. Eric was very patient and helpful as I spent several days deciding on exactly what I wanted. When it was time to deal, Eric put me in the truck I wanted very quickly with the figure I expected to pay. Again with 12 plus years buying and service experience with Toyota Mall of Georgia, I would highly recommend the dealership and staff for a great buying experience and Toyota for continuing to produce a quality and reliable product.

Sunday Satisfaction

I came to Toyota Mall of Georgia on the Sunday morning. I went straight to the cars. Mr. Hines came out to warmly greet me. He showed me several cars. I came back two weeks later, and he made a special trip to meet me on Sunday morning. I came back a third time and bought the Prius Car. I am very happy with my new car, but overall it is the patient and warm welcome of Mr. Hines that sold me the car. Good Job Mr. Hines and thanks Toyota Mall. I will be back next year for my wife new car.

Mold and Mildew Smell in 2012 Carmy

We purchased a new fully loaded Toyota Camry in October 2011 and have had a big problem with a mildew smell from about the 6 month mark. The first time we encountered the problem with discussed it with the dealership and they sprayed some air neutralizer into the air conditioner air induction system. This "Band-Aid" fix lasted about 2 days and the mildew odor came back. Next, they suggested spraying Lysol into the air conditioner air induction system. After being given the run around and quick fixes for 6 months a Toyota service technician admitted there is a problem with the evaporator plate collecting condensation. It was then, we were told the problem was not under warranty and that we would have to pay to fix it; which would still only be a temporary fix. Apparently, the evaporator plate doesn effectively drain the water condensation built up from running the recalculated air option. Thus causing the mold and mildew to grow and develop inside the air conditioning system. At one point the mold and mildew odor was so bad that we rolled down the windows in 30 degree weather to be able to breathe. In addition, one of our close friends purchased the same model Camry about 6 months ago and she already has the same strong mildew odor. . This is my third Toyota, however due to the fact that Toyota refuses to stand behind their product, I will never purchase another one again. We are also offering free rides to anyone who wants to embrace themselves in a mildew funk.
