What a pleasure to do business with!! Here?s the background info. Problem: My wife?s 2005 Nissan Altima?.Wow...I don?t even know where to start?.This car has taken a beating and keeps on going. We have had very few repairs all together less than 1k and I?m sadly admitting we changed the oil only about 10 times in 133k miles. (FYI we got married @ 85k miles, most of the 10 oil changes happened after marriage lol) Despite all that she has never been left on the side of the road and the one major repair was done through a recall. A few years later another part (window regulator) went bad and I had to pay out of pocket for the repair about $180.00 installed? no big deal. I cannot stress enough how much I loved the reliability of this car. I would still have my trusty Altima but the wife wanted a few more features in her car. (Bluetooth, Nav, Bose Sound System, etc..) What we did about it: So off we went to trade this one in?On our first attempt to buy a car at another dealer, they were very rude and made me feel like I was a being petty when I asked for more money for my trade. I knew how much it was worth because I did my research and checked a few different sites?but this dealer did not even offer me anything close and when I asked for more money?that?s when they started getting rude. We left without even test driving the new car. My wife said she would never go the dealership to try and buy a car again, but I really needed her input since it was going to be her new car. So we tried one more time and?.DRUM ROLL?..We bought the all new redesigned Nissan Altima for 2013. This is how it all went and my advice to a new Nissan buyer: Buy @ Henderson Nissan it will save you so much hassle. How I came to that conclusion: We went home and got online! We checked out the inventory at the local dealers websites and end hit the contact us on the Henderson Nissan site. Put in my name and phone number and a few mins later we got a phone call inviting us to the dealership like a VIP! We made an appointment for later that day, we were told by making an appointment we would not have to wait around and we would be helped right away. Sounded like a good idea?.I hate waiting for a salesperson when I ?m the one with the money?I felt like they should wait on me instead! We dealt with Paul McGill (spelling? Sorry Paul if you are reading this and spelt that wrong) during the test drive we told Paul about our experience at the prior Nissan dealership told him ?we wanted a discount on the new car!? He smiled while saying? I?ll see what I can do.? Got back to the dealership and Paul offered us water, coffee and fresh pastries then went off to put some numbers together. He came back with a no-haggle discount for us. This was great! Then they appraised my trade it, gave us a competitive price. Again no haggling needed. Not as much as KBB would have given us?but we knew that since there is no ?buy my car now? button. We discussed what we needed in terms of financing. They searched for us and got us a great rate. It was such a pleasant experience not typical of dealing with car dealers. I leased a Lexus RX a week earlier. This Nissan dealership had the type of ease and service comparable to what I received from Lexus. I would highly recommend this guy paul and the dealership if you are looking for a new Nissan. PS: Paul, I really like cars, the Lexus lease ends in 35 more months and will need my wife?s opinion on the new ride! So thanks for not scaring my wife from ever entering a car dealership again!
