Great Experience

Was shopping for a inexpensive used car for Mom, below $5k. Found a car on Cars.com listed that day for a little over but went and saw it anyway.. Ricky in Used Cars was efficient and knowledgeable, he let us take the car home to show Mom and bring her back that night. All told we got the car for $2k off list. We were in and out in an hour and treated respectfully and dealt with honestly the whole time. I will go back when I need a car. A great experience.

Best Place to Buy a New Honda!

I contacted several Northern VA dealerships in the area trying to gather information for my purchase. I contacted Fairfax Honda and the sales manager, Kenny Smith answered the phone. He was very professionally and provided the information that all the prior dealerships declined to answer. We made an appointment and I was greeted by him when I came in. He already had his sales advisor clean the car and it right outside ready for me. The paperwork was done in less than 15 minutes and before you know it was in finance and taking my car home within one hour. AMAZING! I recommend this dealership to anyone that does not like the normal dealership games that most dealerships in the area play. Very straightforward, very professional and service is top notch. Thank you.

Brand new Accord!

I had first experience buying my car at Fairfax Honda and it was a phenomenal experience! I never bought a car before and I here all these negative things about the car buying experience but I did not encounter one at Fairfax Honda. I submitted a request on their website, the manager; Kenny Smith called me within 5 minutes and invited me for a test drive. They sent me haggle pricing by email which was fair, finance was great and my salesperson delivered my vehicle. Very simple process and I was impressed! I would like to thank your team for making it a phenomenal experience for my first car buying experience ever. I will be sure to recommend you to my friends and family. Thanks

Will NEVER Buy from Fairfax Honda Again!

I recently bought a used 2007 Scion TC from Fairfax Honda. Their service was absolutely horrific and I am shocked by how terrible it actually was. They gave me no assistance when searching for cars in the used car lot The salesman stood back and didn't help me as I walked around all of the cars myself. I even had a planned appointment that I was on time for! I chose one and they let me test drive it. Before I could even drive it, they had to jump the battery because it was dead. I was concerned about this, but they ASSURED me that the battery was "just fine". I even asked them to check it multiple times after the test drive, again, they told me it was good to go. I decided I wanted it and was hoping for some more information about the vehicle. However, the salesman hardly spoke another word to me and seemed annoyed as I asked questions about the vehicle that I was about to purchase. He left me at the table unattended for quite a considerable amount of time without any explanations. He even went and helped other customers when he should have been with me discussing information about the upcoming purchase. He was rushing me through the paperwork and was pushy for me to sign quickly. He was not personable at all. After my purchase, they brought the car up to me and gave me the keys. They never showed me around the the inside of the car or explain how to utilize any of the features it offered. They also neglected to clean the inside of the car at all. There was a considerable amount of dirt, hair, and dust inside of the car. It clearly had not been touched inside since they received it on their used car lot. Additionally, they left the glue from the sales sticker on both front windows, which covered hidden scratches on those windows during the sale which they did not mention to me. When I brought the car home I had to spend hours cleaning the interior and cleaning the glue off of both windows. I also discovered that the front grill of the car was not in tact and it was instead, in the trunk. I never received any follow-up phone calls from the dealership after my purchase. Additionally, one month after I purchased the car I had to schedule an oil change as my oil level was at a dangerous low. While I was getting an oil change, I was required to purchase a new car battery as it was corroded and it was at the "maximum risk for failure". I am so disappointed with Fairfax Honda and I will never purchase another car from them or receive any services from their facility. I would NEVER recommend this company to anyone!

Phenomenal experience buying a car

I have bought a number of cars over the years and this was by far the most professionally run operation I have experienced. Expecting a typical slick/shady salesman I instead encountered a extremely professional, well mannered, and knowledgeable young man straight out of college. After deciding on the car he went over all the bells and whistles on it and answered every question I had. He was extremely patient with me as I am not the most tech savvy guy. As I was going through the financing process I, again, encountered extremely professional, polite, and happy employees...people you could tell enjoyed their job and worked very hard at the same time, it was impressive to say the least. The financing process was efficient, meticulous...and never once did I feel that they didn't have my best interests in mind. The leadership at Rosenthal Fairfax Honda has cultivated and created a fine tuned machine equal to the fine tuned machines the sell.

Most awful experience there

Called on President day to check on the availability of a GMC Terrain, was told it was available and drove there. Spend half of the afternoon with the salesman for a test drive, then filling up all the paperwork for the final purchase. All went well until the very end when the salesperson came back looking very upset, saying there was a problem, the manager just told him this car had been ''presold'' in the morning to one family member of Mr. Rosenthal.... Felt like a 2nd class citizen, still don't believe in this story, something is not right! You would have expected that the manager would at least come to apologize and propose another deal? well, I guess they don't want to do business with me, because he never did!

Superb Service

I purchased a new Honda Accord Touring here. Sam Dickerson was the person in charge of my transaction. I flew from Miami after mutual agreement of availability, financing rates, etc. Sam picked me up at Dulles we drove to the dealership and proceeded to look over at all details, being in Miami most of my life (I am of course generalizing), the process of purchasing any vehicle, used or new is a pressure and mind boggling proposition. Being a salesman myself, you can feel the urge and efforts of these guys trying to close the deal, specifically after they kind of think they broke the ice and figure they already are in more favorable terms. Sam gave me the feeling of a friend picking me up at the airport, I have hardly seen someone with the enthusiasm and through product knowledge he showed, enthusiasm and stamina, constantly concerned about my understanding of the technology involved in this car. (Honda Accord Touring, is a full electronics loaded unit and totally different of any previous Accords) Sam is still sending emails and following up on the car and any details (XM codes, Honda Link, etc, etc). Before I forget, Ryan at financing went through the tons of paperwork smoothly and found him to be also a knowledgeable person able to give me options with the best APR?s. Too bad I am not in Virginia to take advantage of their service facilities, Why? When we were going on last minute details in my car, a client of Sam?s showed up on some car check or issue and I felt an air of friendship and familiarity. Bottom line, car?s been sold, why would you bother your sales representative go to the service Dpt. I am too busy with a client now. Answers you will get in Miami (of course, generalizing again but not too far off). So again, Sam and the Rosenthal Fairfax Honda team, thank you for a very unique and pleasant experience

Worth the wait

Had lots of the standard periodic service stuff to complete on my 2011 Insight today so I wasn't happy about how that would impact my wallet since I had missed a few visits over the past several months. I was told the work would be completed in about 90 minutes but it took about 40 minutes longer than the expected time. I do appreciate the exceptional service and fairness I received though. Thanks to one of the assistant associate's, Melvin's professionalism and his exceptional interpersonal skills, but mainly the broad substantive knowledge he displayed, we were able to find ways to complete the most critical service requirements today, and at a reduced cost, in addition to scheduling the remaining issue to be addressed (also at a reduce rate). So it helps to take a few extra moments to get to know the staff and explain to them your priorities. The results are worth the wait.
