great sales and business people!

My experience here was top notch. I made an appt to drive a new Impreza sedan but mentioned I did not think the trunk was big enough to fit my mom's wheelchair. Emilio, my salesperson suggested I bring the chair in - it would probably fit with the seat down, but then he found me a SWEET two year old legacy sedan at a good price which I bought and fits me much better than an impreza. The business person, Neisha (sp?) was very clear about all warranties but did not push one on me. Overall, a great experience. Sheila

GREAT SERVICE EXPERIENCE

We purchased a 2014 Subaru Forester. Katryna was our salesperson and from the first moment that we met her we felt very comfortable. Actually we first went into the dealership a month ago and Katrina greeted us and asked how she could help us. At this time we were still in the looking phase of our car search. Even though she knew that on that particular day we weren't ready to purchase a car, she brought a 2014 Forester to the front parking lot so that we could see it. She was very knowledgeable and was willing to sit with us to demonstrate and explain all the features of the car. She was very professional and actively listened to our requests and was interested in matching our needs to find the perfect Subaru for our family. When we decided on the Subaru Forester, we knew that we wanted to have Katryna for our salesperson. We our very pleased with the service that Katryna provided us, you can tell that she enjoys working with the public and is very sincere in her sales approach. Pleasant shopping experience

Fantastic Experience Ira Subaru of New England

It was time for a new car and right when I met Katryna, she put me at ease. She showed me a 2013 Outback and we took it for a ride, by the time we got back to the showroom I told her I would take it. She was very knowledgeable and efficient. The credit department put the paperwork together and gave me a great deal with a very low interest rate. Katryna got the plates worked with my insurance agent and i picked up the car within 48hrs. At time of pickup she showed me all the bells & whistles and I was off and running just before yet another New England snowstorm. Which by the way, this car is FANTASTIC in the snow as it was put to the test. Thanks Ira, you hire the right people!

Unsatisfactory service

We contacted the dealer via email about a particular used car on a Saturday. The car was confirmed available. Someone called Sunday morning to arrange a time for us to come in to look at the car, since we live in CT it would take us time to travel. We arrived at the dealership and the manager nonchalantly stated 'Oh, that car sold last night' then proceeded to hand us over to a 'salesman' to see if they had any other cars that met our specific needs. No apology, didn't even bother standing up from his chair. We are annoyed but might as well see if they have a car we'd be interested in. Explain to the salesguy exactly what we are looking for and he proceeds to bring us an overpriced, high mileage vehicle. Not acceptable. He can't seem to find the type of car we are looking for in our price range so we get up and leave. Sitting in the car in the parking lot we discuss our next move. While browsing cars.com online some more, I see a used car listed at this very dealership which would have fit our needs. Apparently the dealerships salesmen are unaware of what is on their own lot. To cut to the chase, we did not get this car. We are glad we will not be doing business with this dealership. Only after coming back to review this car I found listed on cars.com (and finding it priced too high) only after, did the manager get up and offer an apology. The second salesman we dealt with was a much better listener but still could not meet our needs. We wasted an entire day for nothing. I strongly suggest people avoid this dealership until they learn some customer service skills. It was unfortunate that the car sold the night before but it was unacceptable that no one told us of this fact before we made the treck and no one offered a sincire apology until the very end of the day. Too late.

Same bad service as others

I was using my own financing, the entire process took a few days to get my paperwork ready. During this time the dealer was supposed clean and wash the car for me. There was also a stain on the back seat that they said they will try to remove and I was assured they were taking care of it. On the day I took delivery of the car their office manager? Pushed really hard for Subaru's financing and their various service plans it was kind of annoying. When I was done I meet back up with the sales rep and he tells me there is only one electronic key, I wish I knew this before agreeing on a sale price. These keys are between $400-500, I would have still purchased the car but I would have tried to negotiate the cost of a replacement key since we need two of them. Then I pick up the car and it was dirty, the dashboard was dusty, the windows and mirrors were dirty and smudgy and the stain in the back seat was still there. I spent an afternoon the next weekend washing and cleaning the car. I bought a bottle of scotch guard and it got the stain right out!! so they didn't even bother to try and take care of it. I got an email from their regional manager looking for feedback so I told them my honest feelings about the transaction, the sales rep contacted me a few days later and he wanted me to bring the car back in so they could clean it. He missed the whole point, they were supposed to do it in the first place and I already took care of it. I also forgot to mention they didn't do an oil change before putting the car up for sale, there was no reminder sticker so I checked the oil and is not something that was recently replaced so I also had to take care the oil change. There is nothign special here, there is no premium service here, there is no great experience here .... only go here if they have the car you want for the price you want and make sure you get everything in writing, ever something as small as a car wash or you?ll end up doing it yourself.
