Let me start by saying we (my wife and I) hate shopping for cars. This time we used the USAA purchase program and were put in touch with Jenny at the AutoNation Direct team and she found a car with a little more options then what we wanted but came up with a good price that was right where we were looking to keep our budget. The car was for our son in college to commute so we wanted good MPG and good safety ratings. Jenny set an appointment with David at the AutoNation Ford in Sanford for us to view and test drive the car, afterwards the negotiations were fast and we presented them with the price estimate we received from AutoNation Direct and they actually beat that by $500! Here's why I rated 5 stars - the next day I was looking at the paper work and on the sales agreement saw the price was $1,000 more than we agreed to, I called and was not happy and thought how could I have made this mistake as it all seemed to add up fine when signing. Long story short the sales management team was very nice and willing to listen and then explained the paperwork - it was my mistake as the paperwork from AutoNation Direct had the incentives/rebates in a different position then the sales agreement and when I took a good look I saw that we were given the deal we agreed too! The staff was ready to take the car back or take time to see what they could do to make sure we were happy - after noticing the mistake was mine I apologized and am quite happy with the way the sale went. I would say they were very professional and willing to listen, there was no high pressure (which we hate) and everyone was friendly! Our sales person was David and the Sales Managers we talk to were Luis and Bill, we will do business with them again when we are ready for our next vehicle.
