"I love my Dodge Avenger. It looks hot inside and out and it runs great. The only downfall for me are the blindspots. They're not too bad when changing lanes, but backing out of a parking spot can be really nerveracking."

"This is a 2008 Dodge Avenger Red SXT. Lets start 2010 Transmission problems my miles are over warranty. 2011 Check engine light stays on. 2011 clear coat starts to bubble and peal from spoiler. 2012 paint is bubbling on the hood when Dodge was notified stated they may not cover it that a rock could cause the paint to bubble. Dodge keeps Dodging the bullet on car issues. Last Dodge and Chrysler vehicle I will be buying. Look up on the internet about Dodge vehicles paint bubbling on vehicle hoods then you decide."

"I have a 2008 Avenger R/T - I have never had an AWD vehicle before and I just love it! I owned a 1997 Intrepid for 11 yrs so switching to the Avenger was quite a challange. It took a while to get used to the smaller windows and at first thought that it gave poor visibility, but you get used to it and you find out that you can actually see just fine! It handles like a dream in all types of weather - and it doesnt pull when you hit a large puddle or a patch of (deeper) snow."

"I've purchased five new cars in my life. To save $, I purchased this car used. It's very nice but I'd prefer it if it were new because there are a few things that were busted on it - not necessarily due to it being poorly built. I'm a big guy (6'5" 265 lbs) and I fit very well in it with the exception that my legs hurt when I rest them against the door & console. Otherwise, I think it's the best car I've ever owned (so far - I've only had it a couple months)."

"2008 Dodge Avenger. I have over 61,000 miles and I bouhght this car brand new. No major problems, just normal maintance like oil changes. Tires are like new.The vehicle is the best kept secret on the planet. I have a 2.4 cyl that gets over 31 - 32mpg on the highway. I owned Cadillac's and other luxury cars in the past and since I was retired I needed to scale back. I bought this Dodge Avenger. What a pleasant surprise. What a value. I can't say enough about the comfortable ride. I have a home up North and down South. When I travel to my home down South I drive right through and it is an 18 hour drive and I am not even tired. The ride and comfort is even better than the Cadillac's, Rivera's and Toronado's I owned years ago. Highly recommend this bargin vehicle to anyone. I don't understand why Consumer Reports rates this vehicle down near the bottom. Consumer reports must be biased."
