Consumer Reviews
"I have had two Challengers now in the past three years. I bought a 2011 shortly after they came out and got an amzaing deal on a new 2012 Challenger that the dealer needed to sell on New Year's Eve. As for the engine, I love my PENTASTAR 3.6 V6. I have used the 0-60 gauge and gotten to 60MPH in 5.88 Seconds and when I don't have my foot on the gas I can get up to 30MPG on the Highway without too much diffictuly at all. I traded for exactly the same car (different color and has the uConnect bluetooth stuff) and the mileage and joy to drive, is right there. I know that I haven't driven a Challenger since "Back in the day" but when today is "that" day, I will have driven it since then. (Say that fast five times!) In short, I love my Challenger, it is fast, beautiful, extremely good on fuel and oh so fast!"

"Great performance and style, plenty of room in the front, however, not so much in the back, but we all know no one really cares about the back...Dodge did it right, I have regrets."

"I absolutely love this car. It's a retro mopar with European handling and perfomance. Love taking trips on the open roads. The only problem is finding a place to open it up legally. My first car was a plymouth duster and the styling reminds me of the old cars but with a lot more refinement and modern technology. The V6 can be driven calm with little effort or open it up and feel it take off."

"I found the Dodge Challenger I wanted. 600 miles away. It was advertised as an automatic, just what I wanted. I called and asked the salesman if it has the paddle shifter on the steering wheel(option with the auto trans)? He confirmed it did. Long story short, I flew to Raleigh from Nashville on Fri. evening. Stayed at a motel. Next morning took taxi to dealership. Got in the car and saw the manual transmission shifter to my disbelief. Amazingly ,I liked it after a test drive but if for some reason I couldn't drive a stick, someone would be writing some checks for my traveling expenses. Moral to the story: call and ask definitive questions before actually traveling to the dealership. Who do I blame: Cars.com, Leith Dodge, and myself!"

"I just went from a 2006 v6 toyota pickup to a 360 fuel injected beast! I got the r/t model with the stripes normally found on a srt. Car is amazingly powerful and amazingly comfortable. I've always wanted an old muscle car with a modern interior and dodge hit it on the head. stereo comes alive with aftermarket speakers and first move was chop off the resonators and replace stock mufflers with a set of thrush mufflers. Sounds like it's 1970 all over again all that's missing is the hood sucking in when you tromp on it. car is crazy fast and handles very well at speeds up into the triple digits. gets about 23 mpg cruising at 90. I love this car!"

"I've had my Challenger since July and belive me it's a great car. Very well built with no problems so far. I have the SXT Plus model with the V6 engine and the SS/T package which gives you high performance brakes, sunspension, steering, 20 inch rims, and a 3.06 rear axle for better low end acceleration. It's not the HEMI version but it gives great performance and as my daily driver is more than up to the task. Nice interior quality and retro looks. Everything about this car is sold and up to my expectations."

"I bought the Red medal flake, I think they call it redline. We have owned the car for about 3 months and the guys and girls at pretty much every drive thru have commented on the car. Everywhere we go people say it is the best looking car they have ever seen and I agree with them. The dealer had a custom strip added to the car so it is a one of a kind. Love the looks, power and handling. Dodge has built my dream car. Oh and those guys who want to a real burn out, turn off the traction control stomp it and hold the brake for a split second to let the tires loose traction and it will smoke the tires all the way thru 1st."

"Color was important so I held out to buy the blue streak Challenger. It looks metallic in the sunlight and people have asked if it is purple (I wish I had the Plum Crazy color of the 70's). I did not get all the bells and whistles but overall, nice ride. Since the car sits low, be prepared to scrap a few curbs."

"I have owned this vehicle for apx. 7 months now @ 10k Miles (I drive apx. 200-500 miles a week) and absolutely love this car, I own the 2012 SXT. First for a V6 (V4 when cruising) The MPG Is amazing, 30+ Highway and 23+ City. My average; thanks to the Average MPG counter in the EVIC is 22MPG and I have a Lead foot. Second, Talk about Power out of a 3800Lb Car with only a 3.6L V6! Puts your head back in the seat, Not as much as a V8 but this is the first V6 that wasnt Super/Turbo Charged that has had me holding my head up! And Sounds like a V8, It starts to roar @4500RPM completely stock and if you add a CAI thats when it gets loud! Third, More space than competitors! Plenty of room for 5 people; I have tested this myself. I have even slept in the back seats fairly comfortably and I'm 5'11. Trunk space galore with a spare tire! Fourth, Its the only car out of the Three ponys (Challenger,Camaro,Mustang) that looks the most classic with the most functionality! I get looks daily and compliments weekly. I have test driven the 2012 V6 Mustang and everything is so cheap looking; Straight out of the late 90's. I also have test driven the 2012 V6 Camaro and they had attempted to make it seem so futuristic at the cost of Space, You cant even check your blind spots without hitting your head on the roof and Zero leg room for passengers in the back. Overall I have not looked back since my purchase of my Challenger, It maybe slightly more expensive than the other V6 Ponys out there but it will be the best investment you can make!"
