The Most Fun You Can Have With 87 Octane

"I was very hesitant to buy a car the first year it comes out, but I did a lot of research and knew exactly what I was looking for: fun to drive, great gas mileage, comfortable, and runs on regular gas. I did the math: a car that takes 91 octane is going to cost me $200-250 a year more than one that runs on regular. Not huge, but with gas already a big part of my budget, I was looking for ways to cut back. I shopped around and test drove some stiff competition: Ford Focus ST, Mazda Speed3, VW GTI, Mini CooperS, WRX. But they all take premium, and don't get as good gas mileage. I went with the 1.4 Turbo and manual transmission, recommended by the major review magazines. After four months, I'm very pleased with the car. The sporty look (and red color) also turns some heads. My only complaint is that the door handles tend to pinch your fingers on release - it really stings."

"I like the car, but hate the gas cap being on the passenger side. That is just not right. The car has a comfortable ride and good acceleration."

"I've had my limited turbo manual for about three months now and i love it. fully loaded with all the goodies. a little slow when getting off the line but amazing once the turbo starts spooling up. interior is better than most cars out there today. Gas mileage is incredible. only fill up once a week and i drive at least 50 miles at day. can't wait for mopar to bring out all their toys so we can have some fun."

"People say that this car seems to be underpowered and yes i can understand that when i went from my 2001 Chrysler Sebring Lxi with the 3.0 v6, which was not stock and pumped out 387 ponnies at 4700 rpms, yes it may seem a bit underpowered, my point is if u down gradeing in hp dont bag on this car, it has enough to get it there fast if neeeded, and it is in the COMPACT car class it does not have a monster 572 Chevy under the hood, this car corners like a dream, has enough power to impress me design is sweet inside and out, and get the MPG that makes me say WHAT when i hear it, congrats Dodge u succeded with this one in my mind dont listen to all the stuff I would recomend this car to anyone who hates the boredom of driveing grandma cars and wants something that can be fun, price is very reasonable."

"I got my Dart at the end of September 28, 2012. By October 4th, I had it in the shop because the right rear turn indiicator went out and mysteriously started working again later that day. Gas mileage is only 35 mpg HWY and about 20 mpg CITY, but I am running Std Trans. Last night, the gas guage stopped working, but when I started the car this morning, it worked just fine. I just went over 4K miles on 03/03/13, so I'm not driving the heck out of it. The part that prevents me from recommending this car to someone: The way the headlights work at night. I don't know if it is something that can be adjusted, I haven't tried yet. At night, with the headlights on low beam, it gives the illusion that I have a tinted windshield that covers approx 66% of the windshield from the top -downward. I feel compelled to duck to see under the shading that it creates. The brow in the headlamps create a sharp line across the field of vision at night, illuminating only 4 or 5 feet of any object that is along side the road. Can barely read any of the reflective signs that are of significant height. Travelling along winding and hilly roads are not to be taken lightly as the field of vision is extremely limited, unless High Beams are used. Perfectly acceptable for City Driving and areas that are flat, but I wouldn't dream of recommending this car for anyone that lives in an area that is hilly or roads are not well marked"

"Have been tracking the 2013 Dodge Dart since January 2012...and ordered my Limited Turbo with Dual Dry Clutch Automatic in August 2013, and took delivery in October 2013. Ordered every option available, MSRP was $ 28,275.00 and dealer sold it to me for dealer invoice - $ 27,100.00! THIS DART IS AWESOME....and has been mis-reviewed by a LOT of publications simply because they did have the "knack" for driving the Turbo and Dual DC Automatic....remember, this is Alfa Romeo DNA....period! Have no issues with ANYTHING on the Dart....period! Mine is Black with the Light Frost Nappa Leather Seating. You cannot beat the High-Tech features like the 8.4 inch Touch Screen and the personalized instrument panel features....ditto for the night time Ambient lighting which includes the red neon instrument panel wrap around...and the Charger LED Racetrack tail lamps! Add in the 506 Watt Alpine Sound System..and a HEATED STEERING WHEEL! Would recommend the Dart to everyone...this is a real winner! Sales were initially not good, because Dodge sent each dealer a red SXT with the Turbo and manual transmission - - and a lot of buyers could not drive a stick! The only way to go is a Limited Turbo with the Dual Dry Clutch Automatic, and fully loaded!"

"I ordered my Dart locally and anxiously awaited its arrival. When it finally came, it was missing features that I had ordered. I was unwilling to compromise and wanted what I had ordered so I passed it over and then flew 1400 miles away to get the one that I wanted. It was a pleasure driving this little car home. The drive home allowed me to get well acquainted with my brand new car and really fall in love. Its been about 5 months now and I can't say enough good about the technology inside the car, the comfort of the leather seats, the zippy highway driving, etc. My only complaint is its geared a bit high for around town/slow driving. You have to wind it out a bit more than I'd prefer. If you shift up, then you'll just have to go right back down when traveling at low speeds. Easily overcome as its overall a joy to own."

"Seems tight, well made, and a joy to drive. The Dart Limited was custom ordered with everything but the sun roof. It took much longer to build and deliver than promised. Also the 6 way seat turned into a 4 way seat, so could be better and more comfortable."
