"Yes, I bought this Dodge Dynasty used. But having been around them for many years, I knew what I was up against. Mechanically speaking, the Dynasty is an inexpensive car to drive and maintain. Most everyone knows that with proper maintenance, you will get better fuel economy. My Dynasty has the 3.0L V6 with the 4 speed automatic transmission (A604). This car has plenty of power, balanced with fuel economy. I get about 20 mpg in town and approximately 30 on the freeway. It floats its way down the road, and is a real cruiser. It is also an easy car to work on. I know my wife doesn't like how boxy the body is, but the deep trunk makes up for it. The car has seating for 6, and power windows and door locks, as well as A/C, which most Chrysler vehicles had by 1990. The only real drawback is the front bench seat. The seatback does not change positions, therefore you always feel like you are laying into the backseat. My grandpa had a 1992 Dynasty that was the same way (he bought it brand new). If you decide to buy a Dynasty you shouldn't be disappointed, but always look for a well maintained vehicle. From my personal experience with other Chrysler vehicles, the transmissions are touchy."

"The transmission does not shift and when it does it feels like it will fall out and it shifts roughly. The odometer is broken; it has more than 85,144 miles. The trip odometer doesn't work. It just accelerates, it doesn't shift."
