Consumer Reviews
"I previously owned a Dodge Durango and loved it. When my husband traded in my Durango for a 2007 Magnum SE as a 2007 Mother's Day surprise, I was a little apprehensive. The first time I drove her, I wasn't happy at all. I took the on ramp to I5 and it seemed to take forever to get up that ramp! With a little more time and getting used to, I knew how to better handle my Magnum and absolutely love it! I am a mother of 2 and feel absolutely secure when transporting my "Precious Cargo." Also, we love to travel and find the MPG for freeway driving to be great! Though I miss my Durango, I cannot see myself letting go of Mag any time soon. For Mother's Day 2008, Mag received 20" rims and boy is she a beauty!"

"I have owned more cars than I can count. I would trade in my car for a new one about once a year, usually when registration was due. But in 20 years of doing this I've never owned a Dodge, until now. I have just bought my last car!! I love it! It looks great and has great power. It also catches your eye because they aren't over sold like some cars. I drive from AZ to Ca and that 5 hour drive seems like nothing w/ my Hemi. I have a lead foot so power is important and I am very happy!! I recommend this car for experienced drivers as it does have a pretty good size blind spot."

"This is by far the best car that I have owned! I love the power of the 6.1 engine. It handles like a car half it's size! Take one for a test drive and you will hate me! You will end up buying one! The only complaint that i have is getting used to the front facia, (it will scrape on the parking blocks, curbs or out of driveways). If you want a wagon that will do what a wagon should and go and play with the Vetts and Mustangs, this is your car."

"I didn't need the power of a Hemi, so I went with the base model SE. It handles well in city trafic, which I am in most and it has enough "go" to get me where I need to be and to pass safely. The seats are taking a little getting use to. I don't know if station wagons were cool before the mini van, but I own a cool wagon now. I love the exterior styling and have heard complaints about the windows in the back being too small when you are backing up. I haven't noticed and I back into my parking space at work and at home. There are a couple of blind spots that may be problematic. The only complaint that I have is with the outside mirrors. They just seem to be in the way while cornering, but are great for checking traffic behind you. The speakers could be a little better also, but it seems like the ergonomics are good."

"We have both the SRT8 and the R/T AWD Magnum. In my 30 plus years of being a "car person" I don't think I have found the equal in value, performance and street appeal. The SRT8 is a true American Performance car and the R/T AWD poses no problems in any weather. Sure you can pick any car apart about the use of leather or "the plastic look", but (after drag-racing as a hobby for over ten years) I know cars, and if you want a true performer that will pull away from many cars two and three times what you pay for the SRT8, then check one out. It has been flawless since 9/2006. (Bought both within a month of each other) My wife drives the R/T and loves it, so do the kids, plenty of room, 5 star crash rating, power and looks that start conversations all the time-from all age groups. Dodge has a winner with the Magnum and makes one for any level of performance and/or practical daily use. I am very confident that some of the surprised BMW, Corvette and "others" have not gone to work and told their buddies that a station wagon slapped them down. Best bang around for under $40 K, and more."

"I found the practicality of this car as wonderful as the versatility. I think its fabulous how you can have the economy and the power all built into one. This is truly a work of art. The simple yet sleek lines, versus the bold grill and deep dish wheels make for an image forever to be etched in your mind. The price is right for this car, considering all the options available."

"Once they finished designing a car with a 10" rear window and a chest-high beltline, did DaimlerChrysler's designers ever try backing out of a garage, parallel parking, or any other activity that required being able to see what's behind the vehicle? The Magnum's design seems to be the automotive equivalent of platform shoes. Given the right place and the right circumstances, their appearance can be powerfully attractive despite lack of function. It just may not be right for the real world."
