Consumer Reviews
"Bought the truck new in 2007. It was a Quadcab SLT 4X4 with the V8 Non-Hemi. I only put 56K miles on it, and in that time I had to replace the transmission cooler due to a leak, the starter went last January, and the Ignition Key would intermittently not turn. The gas mileage was horrible at about 13mpg. I just traded it in on a Toyota, and am so glad to be rid of it."

"So I am at 117,000 miles and considering a new RAM...this one was fun. Lots of power and with the Flo-Master muffler gets alot of looks. We use it to tow a 21 foot boat and no problems. The only issue I have had was the replacement of the windshield wiper assembly (odd). This is my first dodge truck, I was a little shy with all the changes the company was going through at the time. My daughter loves to drive it too....Nice."

"I love this truck. i have many truck and i am an hard core ford truck fan, but i am a first time owner of a dodge ram 1500 4x4. i bought a 2007 quad cab a few months back and i love it, i pulls good, it great for off roading, the best ride on the road, i love the hill assist, but i dont like the esp, i have to turn it off when i am off roading so i spin the tires over faster, i wish the ST would come with keyless and remote start so i would not have to pay an arm and a leg to install an aftermarket."

"My first truck was a 3.7v6 ram 1500 single cab but this 5.7 4x4 is so much better for what I use it for i can tell in every manner"

"Tow, ride and looks! Love the hemi- second one I have owned- I pull a boat, love the full doors and power split seat. 6.5 box carries everthing I need. Go to a dealer and take one for a ride. I traded my Chevy."

"I love my Ram 1500! Great for towing, comfort in travel, and reliable... the only thing that sucks is the horrible gas mileage... I only get 12 to 18 miles per gallon... and its cost about $80.00 to fill it up... But hey, you kind of have to know that if you buy a full size truck then you will have to sacrifice a little of the greater good!"

"The truck now has 59,000 miles and no problems. The truck rides pretty good and there are plenty of storage and places to put things under the back seat. The body seems to be well built and the engine (5.7 Hemi 345hp) pulls anything that you will need to pull for the average person. The only complaint is the gas mileage. The MDS is supposed to cut off 4 cylinders while cruising and save fuel. I hear it activate but I dont see a huge savings at the pump. But I wasn't expecting it to be a gas sipper either. I summarize.....I would say if you can get a Dodge Ram that is equally equipped and priced less than a competitors truck pick one up you wont be disappointed."

"i've driven plenty of trucks, gmc, chevy, ford, nissan, toyota driven them all and by far my dodge is the best, it only has the 245hp 4.7 v8 but it out preforms larger engines and my fuel economy is amazing i've gotten up to 33mpg and i average 22-25mpg one everyday streets although city trafic will kill its milage. the only reason it has 4 stars for features is that it doesn't have a hemi."

"This truck is great. The Chevy Silverado is better, but this runs a respectable second. I'm 6'3" and this truck fits me. Comfortable, reliable and drop-dead gorgeous. The only problems I have encountered are: gas mileage is not good at all (but I knew that going in) and I have a V-6, which really doesn't have much power. In fact, I towed a very small camping trailer, and never got over 55 miles per hour (even going down hill) and I would estimate the average speed of the three hour trip to be about 40 MPH. Wow, long trip!"

"I bought this truck 3 months ago because my RWD Dodge Charger was having trouble getting me through the Minnesota Winters. Before the Charger I had a pickup but the $4.00 a gallon gas prices killed me. I missed everything about trucks so I got a 2007 Dodge Ram 1500 with 32,000 miles on it. Sharp looking truck with the Big Horn Edition chrome accents. Not much room in the back seat but I was aware of that. Cosemetically and mechanically it has been a nightmare. The chrome bumper started to corrode after about a month but I was able to buff it out after some hard work. The clear coat is coming off the body side moldings and after handwashing it some paint came off the front bumper cover. Yesterday it started to leak coolant like a sive. Anyone know of any good cars to trade a 07 Ram for?"
