"An average domestic automobile that is acceptable as a second car. I am a most conservative driver and have been unable to beat 27 mpg after 23,000 miles. Stick with the Honda or Toyota as your primary vehicle."

"My Stratus has just over 66,000 miles and it needed a value job. Not expecting to have this work done because the car is used for a family car. I own another car, not a Dodge and it has over 100K miles and never needed a value job or any other major engine repairs. And now the car needs the blower switch replaced because the fan only works on High. Not satisfied with the relialbity of this car."

"We wanted a car to get us from Al to NY to AL to TX to AL to NY to AL... you catch my drift. We have had no issues at all! okay, i lied... we haven't found wipers that work all too well yet for it. and she was awesome back home in NY for christmas in the snow. I even hit a ladder with it on the interstate and all we got was a torn seal for the brake lines. to me, it holded up awesome!!!"

"This is my second venture with the stratus model, I should of learned from my first. At 40,000 miles just after the warrenty expired both front wheel bearings went and the rotors were shot as well. At least they lasted till 65,000 miles in my 1999 status. Other repairs to date include windshield washer pump, exhaust, tie rod ends and ball joints. No wonder my neighbors driving toyota's sit out and chuckle driving 200,000 miles without any repairs and I can't make it to 50,000 miles, what a joke. If you buy this car make sure you leave enough in the budget for some craftsman tools--your gonna need them."

"great car I love it.comfot,great on gas.Looks better than others I've saw (it has the tail fin or wing)that adds alot to the looks.Only one thing I would change auto headlight turn off.They may have came with it not sure but ours don't have it.The rear view mirror dimmer is wonderful."

"I love this car!!! This car started out at 13999. I got an excellent deal on it. It was knocked down to 9999 and had almost 29,000 miles on it. I got a warranty until 85,000 miles and free oil changes for 2 years. This car drives like a dream. It is VERY smooth and gets GREAT gas mileage. Highly recommended vehicle, very dependable. Sound system is awesome!!!!"

"The inline 4 is no racer but driven normally has more than adequate power and acceptable acceleration. I have never liked the steering of FWD vehicles but this vehicle has comfortable handling The trunk is huge and the interior has plenty of room for passengers."
