"Not alot of horsepower, but it's definitely something that's great for getting around locally with. The base model 3-dr doesn't have air conditioning, but has excellent heat for New Jersey winters. The only downside I've come to understand is that sometimes it's quite expensive to replace certain parts on the car, however overall maintenance is quite easy and inexpensive. I've driven this car as far north as Albany and Syracuse, as far south as Wilmington, Delaware, and as far west as Pittsburgh, PA, and I was very comfortable. This vehicle has excellent cargo room, and accomodates tall drivers, also. The vehicle handles very well in snow, however it's lack of weight may pose a bit of an issue on ice. The fuel economy is great also. I average about 43 mpg with my car. I would recommend this car to anyone who needed an economic vehicle to get around locally or to get away for long distances."

"Don't expect much horsepower from this very small/economical engine. Best buy for the money. Very raspy sounding engine seems to be overworked with the air conditioning in the on position."

"Previous to Aspire, I owned a brand new Honda Prelude and in comparison the Aspire is more reliable, less mechanical problems, easy to maneuver and park, and can be repaired anywhere."
