"Bought one with 94,0000 miles on it. Nothing but problems. Fuel pump stranded us 400 miles away. Steering gear box rotted right off the frame at around 111,000 miles. Junked it. To bad, excellent riding van and very fun to drive"

"We love our van! The kids feel like it's a vaction just driving it down the interstate because it's so comfortable. We use ours mostly for trips, but it has come in handy for moving furniture and hauling lumber. When we bought our living room sofa, we took all the seats out, put the sofa in and closed the doors! It has an amazing amount of space in it! It also has been very reliable. It runs great and the most we have had to do is change the oil regularly. This is one incredible vehicle that we would buy again."

"Perchased new in 1996. 112,000 miles with no major work. worst mechanical failure was a leaking manifold gasket. Most reliable work vehicle I have ever owned....Now my grandson drives it. We won't part with it!!"

"We got this van to fit in a family of five, including luggage, camping gear, and occasional pets. This van has never disappointed us ever! The seats are comfortable, no matter how long the ride. The interior has cupholders, nooks and crannies for storage of almost everything and plenty of space for everyone. While the back bench seat seems like there is shorter legroom available, even the teenage-sized boys never mentioned any discomfort. Although there is a luggage rack, we've never used it and it has a towing package we used once. We just have never needed any extra space, even with gear for five people and a dog to travel and camp for a week. There are front and rear fan controls, with an auxiliary control that can be operated by the passengers in back. There are also headphone jacks built in that the user can switch to TV or radio settings, so they can listen to their choice. With two radio/cassette players, the driver can keep one station going and the rear passengers can enjoy something different. We have successfully connected a DVD player to the onboard TV/VCP with a small adapter. Our fuel consumption is really good for a vehicle of this size and weight. Running the A/C does increase consumption but we have still clocked about 16 MPG in town and 20 on the highway with it running full blast. This is an incredibly reliable van. We've NEVER had a problem with it. It has been well-maintained, always starts, always stops, and runs quietly. Sometimes it's hard to hear if it's actually on! Performance and handling aren't 5 stars because well, it's a big BIG van. It's not a Mustang convertible. But for its size, it handles very well. Acceleration is smooth but it will not 'jump off the line' so drag racing is out. It handles very much like a big luxury car, a bit soft but ultimately responsive. Slaloming is probably not its strong suit but you can slide into spaces in parking lots with no trouble at all! We've been very pleased with this van."
