"I traded in a 2012 F150 FX4 fully loaded on my new 2013 Ford Edge Limited, also fully loaded. I loved my pickup and had zero intentions of trading it in, we went shopping for a truck for him.. While we were doing business for his truck, we just kept looking at that Edge sitting on the showroom floor and fell in love with it, only seeing the exterior, the TWO sunroofs, and the cavernous interior it has when the back seats are down. Since I was used to driving a pickup, the test drive didn't go so well but I knew I would get used to it. So we proceeded to purchase the car and by morning I had buyers remorse. What had I done!?! OMG I traded in my gorgeous 4x4 truck on a CAR thingy!! I got in the car and went to the store and fell in love. I had test driven at 9pm thru a neighborhood. I LOVE this car! Yes, I call it a car, it feels like a car, but I don't feel like my bootie is dragging the ground as I drive down the road the way I do in a car. Parking it, after years of driving 4x4 trucks is a breeze, it seems to fit anywhere. I prefer the Sony system in my trucks over the my touch, but I'm used to it now and have zero issues operating it. However.. I use an iPhone 5 with a cord(there are TWO USB ports) and at times, I do manage to confuse the stereo to the point I have to listen to the sat radio instead of my tunes, but it has only happened a couple of times and it happened when I tried to surf thru the songs on my iphone via the touch screen. SIRI and Sync are just awesome together! I can use SIRI to send a text via voice thru the Sync System and the only time I touch the phone is to activate SIRI, the rest I do thru the Sync system =) Ambient lighting!!! Too cool! Push a button in the rear of the car and the rear seats fold down. Love. Don't get me started on the Adaptive Cruise. .Love Love Love Will never be without it again! It has become as essential as the rear backup cam! Until you drive adaptive cruise thru a construction zone, you likely won't understand.. But once you do.. Set your cruise for 75 and your car follows the car in front of it without riding their bumper, maintaining their exact speed, even if its 25 mph, you wont need to use your brakes and disturb your cruise settings. As soon as you are able to pass, your cruise picks up the previous speed. One thing about the cruise, make sure you pay close attention to how to set it, else you could(and I did) set it to go a speed much faster than you intended to. The door panel pockets.. I admit.. those have a lot to be desired. Objects inserted may be lost forever as the pocket goes back further than the opening does and you cannot get your hand to the back of it. Only two cup holders and I am used to having immediate access to 5 from the drivers seat in my F150. There is nowhere to put my cellphone, pens and other small items that I am used to having a place for in my F150. Gas mileage Ehh.. It's ok. Certainly better than what I got in my 4x4. 21 average, and 27 on the highway. I didn't buy the eco-boost. Ecoboost and AWD are the only options my Edge does not have. I currently have close to 4,000 miles on my Edge. I love the Vista roof! I admit the roof was what sucked me in, and I don't regret giving up my 4x4. I bought a cheap beater truck for the very rare times I need a pickup bed, but my Edge did come with a tow package, so that wasn't necessary. I will keep this car until cars that drive themselves are mainstream. This one is almost there =)"

"Purchased a loaded 2013 Limited with 8 miles on it. Two days after purchase tire sensor warning came on, but there were no issues with tires. It spent two days in Ford service to resolve the issue. At just over 600 miles, while driving around 40mph I had a loud violent jerk that shook the entire vehicle. After that, it made a hard jarring clunk every time when downshifting into first. Back to service where it has been for 12 days and counting. They found metal in transmission and replaced valve body but it did not fix issue. I owned vehicle for 51 days and Ford service has had it for 14 of those days (and counting)."

"Prior to test driving the car, looked at several SUVs. The numerous comments about the Edge Sport riding stiff and noisy, were the major things I looked for during the test drive. The disclaimer on all of this is that my other car is a Corvette. So, with that said I found the car very comfortable. The ride was to my liking (remember it is a "Sport" model) and perhaps it was noisy but not to me. Everyone comments about the MyFord touch but after watching a youtube video by a Ford executive, I found it logical and any questions are handled in the owners manual or online. I own a flip phone (I am 61 years old and hate telephones and use the cell for emergency only) so did not get to connect the phone to the car which is not a problem. Totally enjoy the car."

"While being smaller than the GMC Acadia it replaced, The Edge handles better, performs better and gets better milage."

"I really like the car. It is a ruby-red Limited with every option. I have driven Lincolns since '84; I do miss the quiet and ride of the past. The 20 inch wheels on this car make it ride a little rough. Overall, I am quite happy with it; have only 160 miles so far."

"Looked for a long time bouncing back and forth trying to choose my new car knowing this would be the one for a long time. Drove several Ford models over the past year and my husband kept telling me the Edge was the best. I didn't convince so easily because I really liked my Ford Diesel 4X4. It took me a few months to decide because I really like the sporty models and well the larger more powerful engines are my passion. Well I was pleasantly surprised to find how much power the Edge gave me especially getting onto the freeway. I also like a little bling and some special sporty features (Not the mini-van type of person). Well the Edge came through again, from the 18 inch shinny wheels, the awesome sunroof that not only can I enjoy but so can my passengers in the back set and the dash features that make it easy for me to manage my systems from my steering wheel like the Sirius system for hands free phone and music, the wonderful navigation, and duel temperature controls just added to my overall satisfaction and comfort. I have to drive 45 minutes to and from work every day and the comfort and handling is wonderful. I actually was at the dealership after purchasing for some special additions and had the opportunity to speak to another customer who wanted to know how I liked my Edge..... I think she may be back to purchase one too..... Sporty, fun, and stylish and plenty of room for the "professional shoppers" my daughter and I (per my husband). I have owned many many cars (50 +) from 1954 classics to my 2006 Ford Diesel truck so I know cars pretty well. I would highly recommend the Edge to anyone looking for a new sporty and family friendly auto."

"The Edge is pretty great in exterior style. It looks good and drives very much like a car. It has been very dependable and holds the road in windy weather. I very much enjoy driving this car. However, the inside storage is not great. It has two cup holders. but does not provide for easy storage and access for pens, extra notes, and change for someone who uses car for business. The door storage is not easily accessible when driving. I have also had some problems with the "My Touch": The phone works sporatically. Gas mileage could be better. Hope that it gets better as it gets "broken in". With all that said I love to drive this vehicle."

"My wife and I recently had a baby and needed to upgrade from our 2009 Escape which we loved. We went and test drove the 2013 Ford Edge SEL and feel in love with everything about the car. There is a lot of space inside, the exterior is very bold and in your face which is awesome, the 3.5 V6 is very responsive and great on gas. The moon roof is HUGE! My Ford Touch is excellent compared to any other blue tooth device. You just tell it whatever you want and it will even tell you if there is traffic blocks....there is so much more. The leather seats are very comfy. The radio is sweet! Heated seats work great. The dash cluster is so cool. We Highly recommend the Ford Edge."

"I can honestly tell you im in my mid 40's, have owned dozens of cars and never posted a review but here goes. I have just about 2,000 miles on my 2013 Ford Edge Sport. So far very pleased with Ford (this is my first american car in over 15yrs). The styling is not for everyone but i have a Black Sport with 22 inch wheels and really like the looks. The fit and finish is certainly above my expectations (I am coming from a 2008 Porsche Cayenne v6). The Edge is put together very well, seems very solid and the interior is almost german in its appearance. The Sport drives great - i drove the limited but preferred the slightly stiffer, better handling ride of the sport. Also the 3.7l v6 runs very smooth thou If you are worried about gas mileage your better off with the 3.5 v6 or even the 4 cyl eco-boost. I got the AWD - i spend much of my time in Vermont - i was thinking I would need to get some smaller snow tires for the winter but the 22 inch All-season Pirellis have done a good job so far. There is no doubt the Sync/MyFord Touch has a bit of a learning curve but if u read thru the manual (most people dont) and take some time to figure out how it works and what it can really do - its is a Great system. NAV with traffic is the best system ive had in a car to date. Problems ? 1 small one so far - had warning light come on tell me to check the battery - it would not go off even after a long trip so brought it to Ford - was a bad sensor - in and out in 1 day - no charge of course.. No problems since then.."
