"This truck is amazing. My family and I use this vehicle for numerous purposes, including driving through the woods and through mud. The only real problem with this truck was rust, but that was our fault. We really did not wash it routinely or anyting. It is just an old beater that runs great and performs great."

"This is one of ford's best ipurchased this truck with 133,000miles on it and itnow has over 150,000 on it, the 300 six is built ford tough, and the 4wheel drive has no problem in mud and snow I LOVE MY TRUCK"

"I purchased this truck with 250,000miles on it and now it has over 290,000miles on it, it runs great and with the 300 sixcylinder, I havent had to do anything to the motor at all accept put a water pump on it."

"bought this truck from some lady near nc, dogged it for the first 4 months or so with 170,000 miles on it, then put a new motor in it, and ever since then i have been replacing things that didnt NEED to b replaces, but performance parts arent expensive for it!"

"This is one of Ford's best workhorse trucks for all around ease of service and durability. Since they first introduced the F series trucks, the F-150 was always the truck of choice for light hauling, passenger comfort, ranching and construction. With 4 wheel drive, there is no problem in muddy, icy or snow conditions and rarely will get stuck on off road conditions. There have been no major recalls on the F series trucks since the introduction of twin I Beam suspension system and new cigarette lighters."
