"I have a number of friends that own a number of makes of trucks, and to no surprise to me, a good majority of them are slowly being convinced that the Ford F-150 is the way to go. Granted, you can't compare a gas motor to a diesel motor when it comes to power, but the few times a year that I pull anything larger than a couple four-wheelers, the power of the 5.4 liter is more than adequate and a heck of a lot cheaper to maintain. I bought this truck new in July '08 and have not regretted it at all. In fact, my son keeps asking when I'm going to get a new one so he can buy it from me. That's not going to happen, but I would be proud to take him out shopping to find his own treasure in a new-to-him F150."

"Has plenty of power and looks very good with all the goodies included. But is a gas guzzler, Best I have been able to acheve is 17mpg. Hwy and 14-15 in city. With gas prices going up I may be looking again soon. I know I won't be dealing with a dealer Unless I go new. Too much hassle and up to the end trying to sell me everything I didn't want. And not truthful to their word."

"I purchased a used 2008 FX4 Off Road F-150 earlier this year (2010) and I absolutely love this truck! This is my second F-150 and I sold my last one at 305,000 miles (2000 model) to my friend for landscaping...and it's still going! I am somewhat biased, as my entire family of farmers and construction workers are loyal Ford Truck owners, but there is a reason to that. Behind the incredible performance and reliability is, in my opinion, the best looking truck on the road (even better than the 2009-2010 F-150 models), not to mention the first-class interior you just won't match in other pick-ups. My favorite features on my F-150 include: - Short-bed (5.5ft)/SuperCab combination for speed and appearance; - Back-up cam in review mirror; - Ford Audiofile premium sound system, including a perfectly designed custom bass tube under rear seat; - MP3 audio input; - Beautiful interior styling; - Heated leather captains chairs (so comfortable); - Ford factory "black out" headlights; and - Ford Certified Pre-Owned 100,000 mile warranty. If you are looking for a new truck, look no further."

"I purchased the 2008,60 Year Anniversary model F150, this summer, used with 33,000 miles on it. It runs strong, is very comfortable and a pleasure to drive. The two tone paint and overall "special edition" touches are sharp looking and cleans up nicely."
