"Bought truck Feb 11 and still am in love. 11 Ecoboost FX-4 6.5 ft bed and 3.73 elect rear. WOW!! So far with nearly 50k on odo and I am sold. Hard miles too, tow 2 horse trailers with equipment no trouble, thru mountains, performs flawlessly. Unloaded NJ to Florida road trips with 2 pass and weeks worth of gear, 19.2 mpg doing 80 with a/c on. Ver comfortable, roomy, lots of features with Luxury pkg. awesome sony sound, sync, navi. More comfortable than my everyday driver, 12 300 3.6 with 8 spd trans, but I love that car too. Still F-150 is my favorite. I have had 5 now, old ones were 5.4 trucks, and they were great, but this is best yet. Great chassis, strong brakes and trans. Handles well for being huge. Good looking ( tho Ram is the sexiest in and out) Ford better overall, esp if you use it how a truck is supposed to be used. Headlamps are weak. No other serious complaints to mind tho. Still solid and rattle free after almost 50k. No warranty issues. Tires and brakes replaced at 45k hard miles. Does not require too much maintaining, tho I replace axle fluids since I take to Island Beach State Park. So, as you can see from my review, I love the truck. My families farm has one like mine, with 70k mile used basically for towing and hauling bails of hay, and that truck also has been rock solid trouble free."

"I called about a vehicle I saw on cars.com and upon calling to gather more information(which it encourages you to do on the website) was told that "I would answer serious questions but I do not have time to deal with you." Needless to say I immediately told the person on the other end(who barely spoke english) that I would not be doing business with a car dealership that hired people of this caliber. BE WARNED!"

"This truck is awesome, has all the technology plus a cool powertrain that is the most fuel efficient I have seen and driven in a full size truck with the capabilities to tow my trailers and toys without any problem. The Productivity screen is a nice touch and very informative, seats 6 in total comfort and safety and is built the way a truck should be built. Very quiet inside well insulated cab, minimal road noise and motor very quiet. Shifting smooth and also built with pride in the great USA. You want to buy a well built American made product then buy the new F150 Truck. Also maintenance on the truck in minimal and fair priced. I also like the SYNC system ease of use and connectivity. The 3.7L V6 with 6 Speed select shift transmission is a powertrain package other brands could learn from. I have owned many trucks in the past from various makes but always buy american trucks with this one be the best one yet. My only complaint with the vehicle would be the fact HID lights werent available as a factory option for 11 and 12 until 2013 MY as that is an option I wanted when ordering mine...Also the mileage is great average 23 while towing my trailer at 55mph and usually 28mpg with no trailer, and its flex fuel, would be nice to have more flex fuel station offerings in the area...........OVERALL GREAT TRUCK WITH GREAT FEATURES, QUALITY, SAFETY, LONGETIVITY RECORD..............."

"I bought a STX 4x4 Regular cab with the 5.0 v8 3.55 rear end. 18+MPG around town 22.1 Highway (not off computer) filling up at same gas station same pump set at same fill setting. My friends with Chevy 2500 are thinking about going with the F 150. Even have sparked an interest with friends that have Super Duty Fords that use them for work looking into the F150 because how well my truck tows and the MPG. Look I checked out Ram nice truck but 16 spark plugs that have to be changed evey 30,000 miles at a cost of about $300 per 2 local Dodge Dealers as compaired to the Ford 8 spark plugs @ 100,000 and I can change them myself in about a half hour (Do The Math) Ok the Chevy and GMC , I liked the styling of the GMC better. No leg room (I'm 6'1") No room behind the seat and thing that got me the most DRUM BRAKES on the rear, Come On GM the GMC salesman Henrietta,NY told me drum brakes stop better. Thanks"

"Pickup trucks are supposed to be TRUCKS, not more like a luxury SUV, but someone forgot to tell the F150 that little tidbit. Inside and out, this vehicle is more like a high-end SUV than a truck. Yet it abounds with versatility and useful features too. We've taken several long trips in the truck and enjoy the luxury touches as well as the utility the bed and amount of people and stuff we can haul (F150 crew cab)"

Started out well but ended up a disaster! Lemon!

"In Feb. 2012, I initially gave my 2011 F-150 STX good marks after driving it for about 1 month. It was larger and more comfortable than the 2007 Ford Ranger that I traded in, but the 3.7L V-6 was somewhat lacking in power and didn't get the gas mileage that it should have. However, in mid-April, the honeymoon was over when the traction control warning (Service AdvanceTrac) came on the first time. Since then, this truck has been in the dealership 6 times for the same problem! So far, it has been out of service for a total of almost 2 months! When I spoke to Ford customer service and told them that I wanted to return the truck, they told me that there was no way that Ford would take it back. So I hired a lawyer and she submitted a lemon law case against Ford. Still no word from Ford about what they will do for me, but suffice to say that I'm extremely disappointed with the runaround at the dealership and Ford's terrible customer service. No more Fords for me!"

"I have the 3.7 L engine (2011) with 7500 miles on it. The best milage to date has been 16 mpg on the highway / 14.9 mpg city (with no wind blowing). I'm very disappointed with 3.7 L engine (advertised as getting 22 mpg). I will be going back to the Tundra next time - at least they are honest."

"F-150 Lariat with Eco-boost V6 and I love my truck. I did have a few problems with the positrac rear-end but Ford fixed it with a new one with no-questions asked. But...the mileage is fantastic for a 4 wheel drive with plenty of power. I'm averaging 21 mpg on the highway and 18.8 around town. The secret is 90+ octane for some drivers are not get what I'm getting using lower octane. Yes, the octane is higher but if you calculate it out, your ahead with the higher price fuel besides the engine is a high compression engine. Ford did a GREAT job on this pickup. Don't change a thing guys and girls."

"Just purchased a 2011 with 31k mileage. Have put about 2k on it this month so here's the comments-well, the 6.2 engine gives the performance of a muscle car the long wheelbase and addition of Leer shell provides extremely smooth ride mpg 11 in town and 16 hwy. With that large tank be ready to shell out $100 to fill it up. Surprisingly insurance was same as previous sedan. Oh yeah that transmission jerk thing reported on a lot of six-speeds my dealer said in foctory specs. Maybe they should tighten their tolerances."
