"Overall a great truck.. Rides exceptionally nice, plenty of power. Three issues. When putting the vehicle in park you cannot get all the door to unlock automatically. The trans, when tapping the brake for a downshift sometime works, sometimes not. It really needs seat arm rests for us thinner people. I can't use the center console and the door for an arm rest."

"I bought the truck new in 2012, but it was a 2011 year model. I have put 1000 miles on it so far and am completely impressed. Ford really nailed this one. I have owned Silverados, one 5.3l half ton, one 7.4l one ton. This truck pulls better then either, with twice the mpg as the 7.4, and 4 mpg better than the 5.3. I have never liked Fords due to the interior, I have always found the Silverado interior to be more suited to me, but not in this case. There is more leg room that I need, even at 6'2", the controlls are right where they should be. My only complaint is visability.. or lack there of, but it is a small price to pay for all the up sides. Awsome truck!!!!"

"Just got a 2011 certified low milage used Ford F150 truck with extended cab. The full size f150 is very comfortable and with the fx4 package upgrade it has all the bells and whisles along with a comfortable smooth ride. I got the ecoboost v6 motor option and I love it. Its got the power of a v8 but the gas milage of a 6 cylender. I looked at mid size trucks with the off road option package and the price was close and the quality wasnt. the interiors were cheap looking and the fx4 f150 has a luxiroious interior. And Ford didnt have to take tax money to make it, way to go."

"Great truck, this is my second F150, only problem thus far is oil consumption, it has used at least 1 qt every 1800 to 2000 miles. It only has 6600 miles since new, I hope this is only a breakin issue. I drove the base v-6, which I felt was underpowered, I opted for the 5.0, which is a great performer, as long as the oil consumption is temporary."

"I traded in a 2007 F150 King ranch 4x4 so we could work a deal for my wifes car. I was told that a 2011 would be great. It could tow my boat no problem and has plenty of power and it will get better gas mileage. HA HA!! It has the 3.7 v6. It has decent horsepower but there is no TORQUE. That is why people buy trucks! The gas mileage is a joke also. 16.2mpg. I drive highway miles to and from work and it hasn't gotten any better at all. I called the dealership and told them I hated it and they basically told me OH WELL!! I would never in my life buy another Ford truck. Time to go back to a Ram!"

"I bought a Ford F 150 crew with leather, sat radio and a 5 liter v-8. It tows without complaint even up to 9,000 lbs. The combination of the manual shifting auto and lots of HP and torque makes the difference. The truck serves as a daily driver and our only vehicle with 4 doors and it will seat 5 in great comfort. We bought it because we lots a car to a traffic accident and our 2003 F 350 while a great vehicle is not very daily driver friendly. Thus we combined two vehicles into one. So far in one year we have put 22,000 miles on the truck without a hitch. Oil changes etc. and that is it for expenses. The rear tailgate step and the bed extender (especially when folded inward) are a must. Yes I know the step seems silly, but I am 67 and my knees hurt, so laugh if you will, I use the darn thing and am glad to have it. While I personally prefer the looks of the GM products, we bought the Ford simply because we have had such good luck with them and their interiors are better, especially rear seat leg and shoulder room. The new " flat floor " and tilt up seats are a plus as well - having ridden in the back seat with this truck several hundred miles, there is nothing lost in confort from the traditional seat and its more space to use"

"I am coming from a 2007 Nissan Xterra that was becoming unreliable. I found a used F150 crew cab 4x4 5.0 9kmiles one owner. So far I love the ride very comfortable and quite. Great power. So far so good. after doing months of months of research Ford is the best looking and most reliable truck out there. I am not fan of any make of truck. I shop for my needs and likes and affordability this fit the bill. Gas mileage so far around town for me has been 16.8 and 19-21 highways. This depends on how drive. you romp on the gas you will get poor mileage. Also it's truck I will be towing with it and use what its made for. I will write a review later after a few thousand miles"
