"My 2013 Ford F-150 4x4 STX was more than I expected. Even though the STX line is one of the lower packages it came with sync services and satellite radio, as well as, a great interior package that is meant to be used. The interior is easy to clean unlike most vehicles with carpeted floors. This vehicle has vinyl floors that lends itself to quick and easy cleaning. The vinyl flooring still has the noise canceling material under it which keeps the road noise out just as well as a carpeted interior. Overall the STX package was an amazing value and still has great interior and exterior styling details. I could not be happier with my purchase!"

"Great truck so far, no complaints, 18.5 mpg mixed driving, as long as you keep off the gas. Ride is ok still a bit choppy in the back over certain road sections. Never driven anything that delivered power so well all the way thru the rpm range works very well with the transmisson. Interior is great. If i were to build my own truck from the ground up it would be very similar to this, just smaller. One more thing, get the 36gal fuel tank 500+ miles between fill ups is soooo nice."

"Traded my 2006 F-150 XLT (which performed very well) and the improvements are numerous. Performance, fuel consumption and ergonomics all improved. My Touch takes some getting used to, however, I learn something new every day."

"Had a few in the past, nothing really to compare. Unlike some of the reviews noted here, I've been averaging 18.5 mpg's with the 5.0. This has been awesome in a truck this size. My old 2011 Escape averaged 22.5 with all wheel drive with the 4cylinder. It accomodates my whole family with ease, is a blast to drive and is smooth and quiet both in the city and on the freeway. I test drove the ecoboost for 3 days prior to buying the 5.0 and the best I could average was 20 mpg feathering it all the way. It's spunkier, but I'm very happy with the history of the 5.0, wear and tear and reliability is unmatched. The only thing I would change is the center console, at times it hard to reach around the drinks to change temp, radio, etc..."

"I would have put a place on each side of console for the cup holders and the area between the two as the area to lay the cell phone."

"I bought the 2013 Ford Platinum Edition of the F150 last month. Have over 1000 miles on it now. I really like this truck with the exception of the tires. The systems seem to work but I still have yet to get the My Ford Touch to work for some things like finding a business or directions and maps. I have not called Ford Sync tech support yet. Tires, These are my least liked thing on the truck. I specifically asked what tires came with the truck and all of the Platinum models at four different dealerships all had Pirelli tires. When I got my truck it came with Bridgestone tires. I can't stand Bridgestone or Firestone tires. The dealership said there was nothing they could do about it because that is what the truck came with. That is why the 3 star overall rating."

"I've been on the hunt for years for a car/truck that can do it all. Looked at audis, VWs, Subarus etc. The problem with these are they all kinda do one specific task and everything else is done sorta ok. With the F150, I feel like I have a luxury car (leather, navi, heated/cooled seats, voice control, auto thermostat/lights, sunroof... all the stuff we like in fancy cars) but I also want to get it dirty, go off road in the mud, drive over the snowy passes in the winter time. And boy does this boy do everything. The only negative I'd point out is the 5.0L V8 is DEFINITELY a gas hog, as you'd expect. I've yet to hit the advertised MPG as of yet, and the rumble and roar of that V8 when revving is tempting making it even more difficult. I also wish Ford would get away from Leaf Springs on the rear, yes they work, and are great for HD tasks, but you can do that with springs as well, and leaf springs are SOOOO 18th century, but still it's sufficient and capable so I'll tolerate the leaf spring ride."
