Vehicle Overview

The Focus Electric hatchback is Ford's first consumer-oriented battery-electric vehicle. The EPA has rated the car at 76 miles per charge. Ford estimates that a depleted Focus Electric battery pack will recharge in 3.5 hours using a 240-volt charging station. Its primary competitor is the Nissan Leaf.

New for 2015
New standard features include a leather-wrapped parking brake handle, automatically locking doors, rear disc brakes, hill-start assist, an alarm and HD Radio. The rear of the car has been restyled with new taillights, a revised bumper and an updated spoiler. Changes to the cabin include a new center console and center control panel.
