"I had a 2006 focus that my wife rapped around a power pole. The car was totaled, but she walked away without a scratch. So with the insurance settlement I bought a 2008. It's a great car, especially the Sync system. It gets about 34 mpg, comfortable. The only thing is I wish it was a four door sedan and not a coupe."

"hail damage all over. interior is absolutly trashed with stains that wont come out. it has been a salvage title and your insurance will only put liablility on it. not worth it. plus the car dealership owner is a douche."

"I bought this 2008 vehicle from an individual. The car was in great shape when we bought it and has run great since. The gas mileage is the biggest plus for me. The one thing I don't understand is why they do not have a trunk releas inside the car. I also don't like the new keys that have chips in them and cost an arm and a leg but I guess that probably won't be going away any time soon. Overall a great car."

"I had this car for a few months now, traded in my Fusion Sport for this Focus. I LOVE the Focus because we went for a drive and got 36 mpg! We had no idea what this car would get because we were never told, so it was a nice surprise!!! I loved the Fusion as well but this one is more affordable, for the little bit of driving that I do, back and forth to work, it's a great car."

"I am now at almost 50,000 miles. And my '08 Focus still runs great. Fun to drive; great looking, very good mileage, comfortable. On the freeway mileage will very from better than 40 mpg if I am putzing along at 60 to 33 at 80. Normally I crusie control at 72 or so and get 35-36. Mycity driving is real stop and go and I get around 26 there. Not great. I have had no problems. Myorigiinal plan was to trade out after 3 years...that is now... but I am going to keep it for at least another year. And then get another Focus."

"This is the first vehicle I bought. I got it used from a private seller this year in July and haven't been able to stop driving since. The size of the gas tank is smaller than what I was expecting, but it gets good milage (28/32 is what I have experienced). The panels on the intirior are perfect and sleek. There are 5 cup holders in this coup! AMAZING! The sound is amazing, the get-y-up is amazing. I'm a college student and this car is perfect for the average college student. I've never been happier."

"Loved my 08 Focus SES. First Brand new car I ever owned. Had it about a year. Drove it through snow, ice and every road in between. Very reliable. Had 30,000 miles on it when I let my family borrow it and it was totalled in a wreck. Hit a tree dead on at 65 mph. The one downside to this vehicle is the Airbags did NOT deploy. Ford Motor company would not assist me and didn't seem to care that one of their vehicles didn't perform as it should have. My family was slightly injured but ok. None the less, the airbags should have gone off but did not. For that reason alone and knowing that Ford knows of this defect in the Focuses, I would not buy another one."
