"I purchased this 2008 Ford Focus SES in May,2010. I had been searching on-line since January (mostly on Cars.com). I have always been a Chevy man, & had just come out of a "97 Monte Carlo for the past 7 yrs. I had been looking for a newer Monte Carlo (04 or 05), My brother was driving me to dealerships in his 2008 Ford Focus SE. After being in it a few times, I really liked it, so I started looking on Cars.com for a similar car. Found one @Ira Toyota in Tewksbury, drove out to see & drive it, & bought it that day! This car had all the "bells & whistles". The SYnc system is amazing! Fit & finish, both inside & out is very good. My mileage just around town, is 28.8 MPG. It has good throttle response, handles GREAT(SES has a firmer suspension & 16" wheels). The seats are very comfortable & good support, my driver's seat has a height adjust for the seat cushion, which really makes a difference from the standard seat in a SE. Good trunk space, & the rear seats fold flat for more space if needed. I REALLY LOVE this car!!! And that is from A guy that said he would never own a FORD!"

"I recently got into a pretty bad car accident. I was hit on the rear corner of the driver side, spun around and was hit head on by a tractor trailer (she was slowing down). I was a little frightened, but I walked away from the accident with the cabin in tact. The car is totaled, but I was fine. The car did its job. There weren't any issues with the car prior to the accident. Good car. I'd recommend it."

"Heavy commuter averaging 130 miles a day. Very reliable with good . 35MPG commuting on beltway and toll road.Driver's package includes xtra chrome, steering wheel radio controls, Sync for IPOD and voice controls for interior features as well as satelite radio. Seats could use lumbar support. No cabin filter provided on this model. Fuel tank is a modest 11 gallons. Front disc brakes and rear drum."

"I am currently leasing my 08 Focus SES Coupe. Got it in Red. Got the Sync in it, and love that feature. The car seems pretty quick, and handles nicely. Gets alot of looks. Gas mileage is amazing. I've Had it for a year and Love it so far."

"I purchased a used 2008 Ford Focus SES with 13700 miles and had it for about a month and a week. This is the first and will be the last used vehicle I puchase. The ride is okay, however, when on the go the ride is a bit choppy and I can feel the stearing wheel vibrate. Not sure if it's because of the previous owner, seems like a careless person, as there were quite a few blemishes on the inside of the vehicle. I will say that it does have pretty good gas mileage as I range about 30 to 33 miles a gallon. The exterior appearance is nice and has alot to offer with not alot of money to burn out of your pocket. I also like having the heated mirrors, remote start,ABS with traction control, and auto-dimming rearview mirror which are features that I think are important to me, but unable to find all of these features in one car."

"This car is one year old and has 30,000 miles on it. We average 28 MPG commute and 35-38 on the open highway. The car has a 5sp manual which is fun except in heavy traffic. Cruise control would help get better mpg numbers, but it wasn't installed. This car had a front end issue with the swaybar bushings making noise, but Ford replaced them under warranty. I wish we could have had a choice for the wagon model."
