"Just purchased this car used with 39000 miles. I have the 2.3L I4 and boy is this a noisy little engine. First there is no need to mash the accelerator cause you will not go anywhere fast, just make the poor engine scream. So forget passing anyone. I do like the styling both in & out. Gas milage isn't any better than the '02 Taurus I traded in to get this 160hp mule. I am a Ford guy, but a little disappointed. This car doesn't live up to the hype, sorry. A Honda or Toyota might make a better choice."

"I own a 2008 SE 4 cyl automatic which I bought used last spring with 40,000 miles on it. Its predecessors in my driveway are a 1993 Ford Taurus and 2001 Mercury Sable. To the point, it is the best value on the road today and a grand slam homerun for Ford! Fusion even converted by uncle from a die hard GM guy and Ford hater to a Ford guy who views his Fusion as the best car he has ever driven! It rides quiet and smooth whether on an interstate highway or a rural gravel road. I love the 6 CD player and ability to hook up my mp3 player and play it through the speakers (audio input jack inside the console). When I drive it it feels like a quality piece of machinery, almost import quality. My only complaints are that the 4 cyl does idle a little rough and it isn't the best car to drive in the winter time. But that is 3 months out of 12 so it is great most of the year. I would absolutely buy another!"

"So far, my Fusion has been an excellent car. I have the SEL AWD trim, and the AWD has been fantastic in poor driving conditions! The interior is very comfortable, this car (again, the SEL trim) has many creature comforts. The cloth seats are very, very soft - the fabric is much nicer than what you usually find. The sync system is fantastic and very easy to use (initial set up took a bit of time to get sorted out, but after that it's a breeze), the Audiophile sound system is great. The performance has been excellent, although the gas mileage isn't fantastic (it's a 6-cylinder and has AWD, I knew it wouldn't be great going in). Most of my daily commute is highway miles, and I average about 21 MPG. I can't speak to the long-term reliability and durability of the car, as I've only had it for about 4 months. I purchased my car used with 46,000 miles on it and it's been smooth sailing so far."

"I bought this car used in Oct. 2010 and it had 25000 miles on it. I love the style and the drive....very smooth drive! The mileage hasn't lived quite up to my expectations as I get avg 23 mpg which is a combo of city and interstate driving. I feel like it doesn't drive on snowy hills as well as my Mercury Sable 05."

"Very good car The only major complaint I had was the Factory tires lasted about 30000 kms. Other then that excellent gas millage good on long trips . Should of got the v6 though."

"I recently purchased a certified pre-owned Fusion, 6 Cyl AWD. I have to say this is the best car I've ever owned... and I've owned at least 8 different cars. the 6 cyl is powerful - although it doesn't accelerate quite as quick as a previous 6 cyl I owned. it is stylish, however I don't like the "chrome" frame around the tail lights. Mine came with leather interior, which is very stylish and comfortable. the only negative I would have with the drivers seat is, it lacks thigh support.... not a big deal, but on long trip I need to put the cruise control on so I can bend my (right) knee and give my thigh a break.... otherwise, the MS Sync system is awesome!!!! and the (upgraded) stereo system is top notch as well!! I would recommend the Ford Fusion to anyone who loves a reliable and yet affordable and stylish car!"
