"I bought the car new in September 2012. It has a great ride and drive. Very quiet on the inside. The electric power steering is more responsive than the old hydraulic type. The car is smoother over the road than my 2006 Milan and has a shorter turning circle. You really don't feel the bumps. It has good acceleration when getting on the freeway. The spring loaded gas filler door broke a month ago, but the dealer fixed it quickly under the warranty. This is the SE model and I noticed it does not have an outside temperature gauge or compass. I miss these little minor items. Overall, I am very satisfied."

"I bought my 2012 Ford Fusion new a year ago and took it in today for an oil change and tire rotation. i was told that at 22,000 miless I needed to replace all four tires and get an alignment at a cost of $1000. The service advisor was kind enought to explain the tire damage was due to my driving "too hard". I explained that I have bought four vehciles new, two previous ones being Fords, and this was the only one that needed the tires replaced so early. I was told the tires are the best around even though they aren't covered by the warranty. I asked about how the tires were when my boyfriend bought the vehicle in for an oil change at 16,000 miles and was told no problems were noted at that time. I said was confused how the tires could be fine and then 5-6 thousand miles later need to be replaced and would be seeking a second opnion. I was told "I've been doing this for eleven years. I know what I'm doing". In summary, I don't know how to drive, I have to spend $1000 and a day waiting for my car to be repaired, and Ford's tires are so good that are not covered by a warranty. I will never by another Ford again nor will I return to the dealership."

12 SEL , Great Certified Car!

"I purchased the Fusion SEL with 4 cylinder with 5800 miles on it and its Certified. Red Metallic Paint, Sport pack with 18 inch wheels and every option but navigation. Car gets 27 mpg in town and low 30s on highway. Handles well with a firm ride. Blind Spot indicators are OUTSTANDING. Back up camera and rear sensors are great. Sony Stereo is very nice with lots of base if desired. I have driven the car a couple of thousand miles and am very happy with purchase and 7 yr 100k drivetrain warranty is great as well. Saved $10k over buying a 2013 model with similar features. Great purchase, Very Happy!"

Love my Fusion

"I had been driving a JMC Jimmy 4x4 for 14yrs. I loved my SUV and wanted something similar. I loved all the room it had, the fact that I could pack it full and still have room for passengers. I needed to find something good on gas, with lots of leg room and space and without those small windows. I was also on a strict budget. After weeks of searching and looking at all kinds of cars and SUV crossovers (Nissan, Toyota, Mazda & yes Ford) I wasn't having any luck finding something I wanted in my price range. One big selling point for me was when I found out that the back seats in some of the sedans fold down and open up to the trunk. This would then give me the space I needed. I also would tell a dealer that unless you could fit a bicycle in the trunk I wouldn't look at it. Well, one day, my husband found a 2012 Ford Fusion. It was in my price range, has all the space & leg room I was looking for. I got the SE model so It doesn't have all the bells and whistles like the new 2013's and it's just a little 4cyl (with enough power) not a V6 but I absolutely love it, and new that this was the car I was looking for."

"Not much going for it ! Noisy and sluggish... A 12 year old honda or toyota would make a better selection... Feels like it will be in the junk yard in 4 or 5 years... Very poor quality build... Cheap price but poor resale value as well. Car auctions are overflowing with them !"

"Leasing an SEL with I4-6 speed auto for 18 months with almost 20,000 miles. I call it a sleeper because I thought it was a basic family sedan, yet has performed in all weather and road conditions beautifully with confidence. No issues whatsoever, the car has been flawless. It drives and handles better than much more expensive sport sedans that I test drove before deciding. Glad I picked this one. Fuel economy has yet to drop below 27 mpg."

"My wife and I went to Budget and they gave us an upgrade to the 2012 Ford Fusion since the car they were supposed to have was not in stock. My wife drove it first from the airport while on vacation in Maui, Hawaii. She is 5'7" and had no problems and liked the car very much. Being in Maui it is very humid. We really liked the separate AC settings for driver and passenger. The seats were well designed and being 6'2 myself I had plenty of head and leg room to spare. Here is my concerns. When I drove the car next I noticed that the rear view mirror blocked my frontal viewing. It created a blind spot. It also seemed to me have a blind spot on the sides. It was other wise a very nice ride. But based on the poor field of vision I would not rent or buy this vehicle personally."

"Difficult to get in and out of if you're 6ft or more. Blind spots galore, standard mirrors are no help.SEL model is the only way to go because you need the V-6 engine for power. Too many buttons to push, quite a distraction when driving. Bluetooth and SIRUS radio function great--nice to have. Ford should have added side bumper strips to prevent all the dings the car gets when parked in malls, parking lots, etc. It's a great car if you're short and young. If I had the money, I would have purchased a Nisson Maxima."
