"After several months of looking, I found just the color combination mustang gt convertible. It has low miles and is just like new excpet of $$$$. It is driven primarily on weekends and is great fun."

"This was an extremely reliable convertible which I bought used. I like the styling and the spaciousness of the front seats. The seats themselves, however, are awful. The stereo is pitiful and the clock is so small as to be unreadable. I also miss a temperature gauge. Having said this the A/C is excellent for a convertible. The ride is quite good as is the handling. Mine has the older V-6 so if you are looking for an economical and fast Mustang get the new one. I think the styling is unmistakably Mustang and looks great on a convertible. I like the 2009 tail end better than any year made. But lose the antenna mast. Who uses them anymore? Yugo!"

"Bought a California Special in vapor Silver. I put 20" foose wheels, pypes mufflers and a shelby rear spoiler on it as soon as i got it. This car gets compliments everywhere i go. The ride quality is great for a sports car, even with the 20's on it. I thought about getting the refreshed 2010 body style but have to say, my 09 looks better in many ways...especially the back end. The interior is the only semi-negative point on the car. The newer model is definitely new ford and mine is old ford in that department. All-in-all, i love my mustang."

"Being 6'5, and 250# finding a car I fit in is a challenge. Lots of head and leg room. Great car, good feel, and has everything I want. No problems so far."

"First car for my son. He loves it. The car performs well, has all the goodies, and is way cool Compared to the Camaro, which has poor visibility, and not close to interior finish vs mustang. We're very happy with this car"

"I just recently bought a 2009 Mustang GT Convertible the 45th Anniversary Edition - it is loaded with heated leather seats the naviagtion system etc... I love my car - it gets alot of attention. I did take it into the dealership about two weeks ago seemed to smoke - large amounts of white smoke when you would start the car - not all the time just randomly well the dealership kept it several days and told me they found nothing wrong with it must be bad gas -NOT! well it has done it again...this car only has 19K mikes ...."

"My husband and I traded our 2008 Mustang V6 in on the 2009 Mustang Bullitt GT! We LOVE it... Has lots of power and it is actually really comfy. It has the Shelby 500 seats in it... I believe we will have this car for a LONG time:)"

2009 4.0 V6 Mustang

"Overall I have been very impressed with the ride and overall build quality of the mustang. I have had mine almost 2 years now with no issues. The base model 6 cyl comes equipped with all of the toys I wanted (cruise, Remote keyless entry, air, mp3-CD, 16" Alloy wheels). Four wheel disc brakes feel confident and very capable of stopping the car. The ride is something I did not expect in this car, It is luxurious and comfortable ride ( I expected a go kart like ride) . At the edge you begin to hear the tires and when the tail steps out simple correction or letting of the throttle brings it right back in line. Most people probably won't get that far. The V6 fuel economy is good and it has enough power to chirp the tires in second. Rain brings out a tail wagging car. With dedicated snow tires (like X-Ice) the car is heavy enough to go thru the snow with ease. We took it over my wife Civic on snowy days. Only complaint is I didn't have $8K more for the V8 at the time. The big doors are difficult in tight parking lots. The base model V6 interior could have been a bit better. I like the old retro gauges but the word mustang has been used too many times in the fabric of the seating."

Wrap around smile....

"I purchased the 2009 Mustang GT knowing a better version was about to be released in 2010. The 4.6 liter V8 mated to the slick shifting 5 spd manual has done nothing short of delivering a smile that would wrap around my entire head (if that were possible). This motor wants to keep pulling and pulling and making a wonderful sound while doing it. This car is comfortable and compliant even on weather-worn Kansas City roads. While it is a solid rear axle car wearing 18 in. wheels and tires, this Mustang does an appreciable job of absorbing the bumps. Road noise is a little higher than one would like, but simply adjust the factory Shaker audio system or drop it down a gear and listen to the sweet music emanating from the dual exhaust system, and you will hardly notice. Interior room and comfort is not bad for a "sports car". Its power adjustable leather seats can be dialed in to fit short and tall drivers alike. Yes, there is a blind spot created by the retro styled rear side window, but the side mirrors are large and offer a great view of objects that are near by. Trunk space is large enough for two over night bags or medium sized luggage. Downside is the interior fit and finish. The "Premier Package" adds a "stitched" leather dash cover and other small upgrades to areas, but the rest is treated to an abundance of textured plastic panels - some with rather sharp edges left from the molds they came from. At this point, I didn't expect to find up-scale German quality, but did expect Ford to try and at least match what the General and Dodge have done in their competing cars. Overall, the combination of retro, throw-back styling, a meaty V8 and all of the glorious sounds it makes, creates a package that cannot be overlooked by those looking for a car like this."
