"This is my third mustang so you know I like them. This one has a standard shift transmission which isnt the best as far as shifting smooth. But the retro looks and the handling makes up for that."

"I was in the market for a '67 to '70 classic restored Boss or Shelby Mustang. The prices are through the roof. I found a new black 2009 Shelby GT500 in a dealer showroom and took it home. Had it two months and absolutely love the car. Best car purchase I've ever made and I've made many since I started driving 43 years ago. Wouldn't change a thing about the car."

"You could get a ZR1 for the price of some of the GT500. Can definitely get a Z06 which will blow the doors off of the Mustang. They have to be kidding with this price for a Ford!!!!"

Best Mustang I've owned

"I owned a 1965 Mustang for a few years and loved it. The styling that the older generations of cars brought to the table seems to be a dying trend. Fortunately Ford has revived the classic look of the Mustang with the 2005+ variants. It is a modern, reasonably priced sports car with a great retro feel. I own a 2009 Mustang GT in High Performance white and I love it. The MyColor instrument lighting is fun and ambient lighting helps set the mood for some romantic mood lighting. Performance is better than expected and with all of the aftermarket options available, you can boost the performance significantly while still buying the vehicle at a low insurance cost due to Ford keeping it at 300hp. With a Cold Air Intake, a computer tune you can easily get 330hp to 350hp. A supercharger for around $5k to $7k will get you an added 115hp. Quite a bargain for your buck. The only downside to the vehicle is that it lacks wings for low level flight!"

"i like this car but do not like it's style it is okay to drive just the style it was good on till i crash it though someones front wall it was still working but my last car i did the same thing and it had hardly any damage so i would rate this car at about 3 average of the damage caused i will give you a tip put better bumpers on the car put some on that will take some damage and it will not effect the car as much as the standard bumper"
